Cosy 2 Bedroom Chalet near Spiddal Galway 8 min.walk to beautiful beaches
8/10 Good
"This is a great spot to visit the Galway area - particularly if you want to spend time touring Connemara. I’d choose this again over staying in Galway - much more scenic and interesting. Our host made everything easy - even left us some fantastic lemon loaf as a welcome."
"This hotel is absolutely beautiful.’well decorated with modern amenities. It’s clean very comfy beds with stunning views and has a parking .

"Our room was across the road (not a big deal) and was up a flight of stairs, there is no lift. Staff offered to carry my bag which was super nice.
Breakfast was over the top each morning."
"Nice hotel in good location. Disappointed that suites were detached from main property and no covered walk between them and main property. Given the Irish weather this made for a damp scramble a couple of times. Also, although the rooms were lovely they were up a steep flight of stairs and not ideal for people with mobility issues."
"Castleview could easily be called castle-cliffs-ocean-farm-view with the added bonus of baby calfs right outside the window. Sally is a perfect host — welcoming, informative, generous, responsive and discreet. She stocked the kitchen to ensure a pleasant first morning (the bread was soooo good) gave us a tour to explain the quirks of the house and offered suggestions about parking, activities, dining etc in Doolin. The house is spotless, comfortable, quiet and warm. You can easily walk down the hill to Gus O’Connors Pub (unless you’re my 85 year old father and are planning on having a few pints before the trip back). We walked out the door to the cliff walk most days and the full walk back from the Cliffs of Moher was deemed one of the top hikes some of my family members have ever taken. This is a great base for our time in Co. Clare!"
