“Best place to stay in Ashford?!”

The room was to the standard we remembered, clean, well furnished and well maintained. It was also a decent size. We had a double bed, an extra single bed and a sofa bed all out in the room but there was still ample floor space. There was a kettle and complementary tea and coffee in the room. The TV had been upgraded since our last stay and there were better cable channels than what we remember from before. There was also a hair dryer and trouser press in the room. The bathroom was clean and of a good standard and the shower and water pressure was excellent. A part from pay-for-view movies there is not much to keep the children entertained so if you are thinking of staying here and have children, bring a portable DVD player with their own movies. There is no swimming pool or anything here but the hotel is close by to Ashford’s town centre. The location is excellent. Ashford International, the town centre, a large Sainsbury’s supermarket and a leisure centre are all within 10 minutes drives. We took the kids swimming down the road and a burger at McDonalds afterwards. There are dining options available in the hotel including room service but it was around £10 for a burger meal option. Otherwise we had a restful stay and we would absolute consider staying again. From our research we concluded this was the best hotel to stay at in Ashford for our intended purpose.

“Don't know why this doesn't have a better overall”

So much more than we expected for a budget hotel. King single beds were a very pleasant surprise, restaurant not cheap but food v v good. Near a road but pretty quiet. All in all, great!

“Handy for the Eurostar.”

I selected this hotel for easy access to the Eurostar early the following morning, the terminal is around 1.5miles away. I arrived fairly late in the evening and was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who explained my room didn't include breakfast, (which I knew) and gave me the option to book it at £8.50. Overall the public areas of the hotel appeared clean and well maintained, on entering my room this was also to a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance. I didn't try any of service such as internet/WiFi or movies, I was just after somewhere to sleep, the bed was comfortable with a selection of different pillow firmnesses, I tried them all, they all seemed good to me! The following morning I had breakfast, there was a wide variety of food available. Overall, very pleased.

“Great stop over hotel”

Aside from confusion over the internet charges and usage, which was refunded, all was good..

“Euro Disney trip”

I've stayed here before, but this was a family trip. Because we wanted to avoid the stress of an early dash from our home, we chose to overnight here before catching the train from Ashford International to Euro Disney. good location only 10mins away. My only gripe was that the sevice for our evening meal was slow, but there were 2 coach parties in, which may have slowed things up. food is good here. The hotel postcode isn't recognised by either of my sat nav's so beware of being misled by yours

“A great place to stop before taking the Eurotunnel to France”

The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful without exception. The room was a good size and they had prepared it in advance with the single bed for my son. I would definately stay there again if I wanted to break my journey up between the UK and France.

“Ashford Central”

Good quality for the price. Very convenient for the town centre and the M20, and the rail station. Staff were well trained and courteous. Cheap and cheerful, quiet and clean.
