Good value for money. Older hotel but very clean and comfortable bed

One problem with keys. I booked 2 nights but they cabcelled the key after one nite forcing us to get rekeyed.

We found the room to be a generous size and in good condition. For the price, we felt we got good value.

“Rooms are roomy.”

Room was comfortable and very roomy. It was nice to have the fridge and microwave. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Ask for a room on the top floor, as you can hear every little sound on the bottom, including flushing the toilet and running the shower. Try the restaurant next door (believe its called 27th Avenue Restaurant) which is attached to the hotel next door. They are currently renovating and are offering an additional 10% discount. Very good food, excellent service, nice decor and very reasonable.

“Vernon Best Western Motel”

This motel is very,very old and not that clean. The lady at the desk was just awesome, I asked her if we could change rooms because the one we had stunk so bad and she came up to check it out and made a note that the cleaning lady had defrosted the fridge and forgot to move the rag and close the door, for some reason the odor was very strong though. She was friendly and very nice about the whole thing and moved us to another room. That room was okay except you could see the bathroom door was not clean and the corners in the bathroom were not that clean either but the building appears to be so old that it might just need some upgrading. The continental breakfast was very good. .

“Best Western Village Inn Vernon- Review- Aug/2012”

It's an older motel, but well-kept. The rooms are large- I was in a double Queen bed room. The Comp breakfast was nice and I like the location- directly across the street from Village Green Mall. Wendy's is also right next door for easy fast-food. Didn't have the time/energy to try out the pool or hot-tub but am sure they are ok. The air conditioner worked well in the very hot weather but was noisy, (aren't they all?)
