"We had an amazing (and too short) stay at Kunang Kunang tent resort. Welcomed very friendly, pick up and drop off arranged accordingly and had a lot of opportunities to explore but too little time. Food is very nice, got super room service with the welcome drinks and even a small present when we left. Would love to come again. Hopefully the tents will be kept well maintained until then! "Staff was very friendly and could not help enough, The pool was really nice. Market was about 10 mins bike drive away with less choices - meaning the area does not have super markets to choose from. Beach was nice when there was not too much trash - as the property is near a river mouth there is a lot of trash, but the staff clean up every day. The property needs some maintenance and some items need repairs. Overall the stay was good and our family had a great time."

"The staff was incredible. There were times when I attempted to tip room service and they would return the tip later. I had to insist that they keep it. Honest as could be. Clean comfortable and accommodating. They even have vegan options on the menu. Definitely enjoyed the fruits and vegetables on the breakfast buffet as well. "Beautiful setting, so secluded, tranquil and breathtaking volcano views. Shame the F&B options were below average in range and quality. The 2 mosques competing for attention at 4am sharp EVERY morning was too much... and then followed by pulsating music from the village below. Where is all this coming from ?? However, the positives do outweigh the negatives."

"Had a great stay here, restaurant is closed so set out for food. There was a tasty food stand outside and found a good restaurant across the street - local eats nothing fancy but good. Pool was nice and there are tables around to spend time in. The front desk gave us a number of a contact for Ijen crater which turned out great. Not far to ferry to Bali. SOme bugs in the room but it comes with the territory. We had to keep toilet seat closed at all times though because it always had ants inside...

"This was a convenient place to overnight between Bromo and Bali. The grounds are huge and decorated with beautiful sculptures, and the pool area was large and nicely done. The rooms were fine, but the bathrooms were very dirty- everything needed a good scrubbing, and our bathtub had around 10 dead insects in it when we arrived. "

"I arrived after midnight due to train delays and getting taxi from station. Although I hadn't notified them and their check-in was closed from 10pm there was no complaint or difficulty with check in. This was great service.
