“Great Spring Break Vacation”

We just got home after a great vacation in Kauai. We lucked out and got beautiful weather the entire time. Hotel was awesome! Great swimming pool and beach. Location was close to many places to eat and shopping. Dukes was great. The only drawback was the water in the bay is quite murky and had a lot of debris floating in it. This might be due to the runoff from the amount of rain they have received. Other than that, it was an awesome vacation. Highlight was the snorkel, sailing trip to the Napali Coast. Would recommend Blue Dolphin for this as it was amazing.

“Kauai's Best”

I have enjoyed staying at this hotel on several occasions. The recent renovations have refreshed everything, keeping the elegant structure looking and feeling new. I ate at the restaurant, but the food is over priced and merely so-so for the most part. The snack shop by the pool serves tasty sandwiches and fresh vegetables for lunch, and it has a small-but-nice selection of draft beers. I sometimes wonder how so many large koi can thrive in the koi pond, which is actually a fairly extensive "lazy river" that meanders in the central area of the property. Juvenile guests love feeding the koi almost as much as the adult guests enjoy watching the fish swarm during feeding time! The hotel staff is clearly well-trained. The rooms are simply hotel rooms, but the bathrooms are fairly spacious and the television in my room had good picture quality. The bedding is absolutely wonderful, silky soft, and cozy. And, of course, any one will tell you that this is the best pool on the island!!

“Great place, food and character. Would go again.”

The hotel felt very comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. There are different restaurants and dining options within and near the hotel. The pool is huge and includes spas but is also right on the beach. The hotel location is quiet yet close to the Lihue town centre and airport.

“Resort Bliss”

Loved the hotel and would reccommend to those who truly are looking for the "resort feel" in Hawaii. You could stay on the property your whole trip and have fun each day. Typical resort prices go along with that also, drinks were super pricey as was the food. But we were upgraded to a beautiful suite for $50 per night, and it was worth it. Just emntion youwould like an upgrade upon arrival and see what kind ofdeals they can work out for you. Have fun!

“Fabulous Kauai Hotel”

This was our first trip to Kauai. We have always had great experiences staying at Marriott hotels and this was no exception. The room was very clean and comfortable with a fantastic view of the pool, beach and harbor. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel couldn't be better. The pool area was beautiful and so big that you never felt crowded and the beach was just steps from our room! We loved Kauai and hope to return someday. We will definitely stay at the Kauai Marriott again!

“Hawaii stopover”

Beautiful Hotel and Surrondings. We only stayed one nite. A bit pricey compared to some hotels but worth it. Wish we stayed longer.

“Kauai Dream”

We chose this hotel for our trip to Kauai because the property looked amazing....and it didn't disappoint! The pool/grounds area was amazing....the gardens, koi pond and lobby were also very nice. We had a standard non-view room and we were still very happy with it. The Kalapaki Grill served delicious poolside food/drinks and we loved that the beach was merely steps away! We also took part in the morning fish feeding since we traveled with our 3 year old. I would definitely recommend this hotel because it is beautiful and just has a great atmosphere. It's also so convenient that it's right near the airport.
