"This hotel had excellent reviews. The price was good, so I booked it. I was not disappointed. The manager, Raj & his staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I could feel the warmth & friendship of the hotel as soon as I arrived. Nothing is to much trouble for them. I leave today for Pokhara, but will come back & stay here again next week when I return. Strongly recommend this hotel. You simply can not go wrong staying here. Its excellent."
"I loved staying in the quiet, spacious, clean rooms overlooking the courtyard. The hotel staff were exceptional--helpful in every way. And I thought the decor was beautiful. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious--and the views from the rooftop were outstanding. I will return the next time I am in Kathmandu."
"I never leave reviews but I feel it is important for travelers to know what a wonderful hotel this is. Let me start by saying that the entire staff are among some of the kindest and genuine people I have come across in a long time. They themselves get 5 stars. The rooms are fantastic and the beds are super comfy. The hotel is also amazingly quiet. I couldn’t believe I was in Kathmandu! Its is beautifully decorated with thoughtful flowers and landscaping. It’s a true gem in beautiful Bodha and is...
"I loved everything about to but had been under the impression that a washer/dryer was available but it wasn’t. You would have to pay a fee per item to be washed and the fee was way too high- 90rupees for per shirt, etc.
that was very disappointing. Other than that I enjoyed staying there."
"The hosts are very dear people. The modest room was clean offering internet, television and hot water..i slept comfortably on the soft bed. Cooling is a ceiling fan & in tge cement building is more than adequate even in the summer heat."
"Upon entering the room we were impressed by the blue led lighting strips. It gave us the sense that we were going into a room of the future. However, they have enough other lights that we were able to read without any effort. (I don't really like hotels that are mood-lit and never able to make bright enough to read anywhere). The bath tub was wonderful. It is so great to sit and soak after a great trek."
"It was an overnite transit to Sauraha
Reception young man was very welcoming most pleasant
Room lacks better lighting & shower stall needs either curtain or separation as water was splashing all over bathroom
Breakfast given for takeout was not recommended!! "
"Narrow streets around this area so there can be a bit of traffic noise.
The airport pickup service works brilliantly and is reasonably priced.
The welcome received on arrival was so friendly and lovely.
Breakfast is a little limited but good - I recommend the masala omelette.
Room was a good size and bed was comfortable."
"The hotel is centrally situated, allowing one to walk to many places of interest, shopping and restaurants. It is also a heritage hotel providing a nostalgic experience. Rooms and the hotel has been renovated nicely (I was there in 2016). Could improve in the breakfast served."

"Lovely boutique property in the heart of Thamel. Despite being on an extremely busy street, the property was remarkably quiet with a lovely rooftop patio. Rooms are spacious and have fast wifi. Complementary breakfast was a much appreciated bonus. "
"Good property with fitness rooms and pool on the roof. Breakfast was good and so were the attache restaurants.
This is a busy area but the hotel is set back off the busy street which is good."
