“The De Vinci lives up to the name!”

My first visit to Jo'burg and this wonderful hotel were very accommodating. The staff was friendly, attentive and service top notch! Whenever I needed anything or had questions about something I wasnt familiar with they never hesitated to help however they could. I would return again and again. For those of us who like modern, upmarket hotels, you should get your dollars worth at the De Vinci. I really can't wait to come back.

“Luxury at a reasonable price”

Hotel is modern and luxurious in the centre of Sandton CDB next to a large shopping mall with most facilities within safe walking distance, including new GauTrain station with fast links to JNB Airport, Pretoria and Johannesburg CBD. The only minor down points were:- 1. Some rooms are immediately above the Bar area and there can be loud music until 10pm, but quiet after that, so some rooms may not suit families with young children or those wishing to retire early, ask for a quiet room when checking in. 2. Breakfast service was somewhat chaotic, no clean cereal bowls, some buffet items not replenished, tables not cleared, but since Hotel is mainly focussed on Business customers, leaving until after 9am might be more organised as restaurant was very busy between 8am and 9am.

“Very good hotel”

Super hotel, with a superb customer service ethos. Rooms and barthrooms all very modern and stylish, with very good breakfasts. Prices for food very good by European standards. Easy to get to by the new rail link from jo'Berg being only very short walk away. Being on/within the Mandela Sq complex (Jo'Berg's Canary Wharf) makes eating out and sghopping easy and safe. All in all one of the best hotels I have stayed in !

“Great hotel in the heart of Sandton City”

Very nice hotel perfectly located in Sandton. Hotel is connected with Sandton Mall, you don't have to leave the building if you don't want to. Maximillien restaurant was great. I was warried before my arrival that I would have breakfasts at the same restaurant for two weeks, but the choice of food was very good and I was able to change what I had and the food was very good; cold, hot meals and lots of fresh fruits, which I always like. And the staff at the restaurant was very, very nice. I was arriving early in the morning and departing in the afternoon, but early check-in and late check-out weren't a problem and I wasn't charged for it. They never promise things if they are unsure they can deliver, but always managed to sort things out for me as per my requests. Maybe it is not the cheapest hotel, but presents value for money.

From the point of entry to the hotel and throughout my stay, service was excellent.
