"My wife and I were very happy staying here. As advertised, clean, modern, comfortable, view of river etc. A pleasant 10-15 minute walk into town. In a very quiet road, easy to park next to the property in a sort of lay-by, (felt the car was safe there). Hosts were very friendly & welcoming and despite language barrier we managed well with the help of translation apps! No problems. Good restaurant options in the town in walking distance. Think we will visit again."

"The house was even nicer than the pictures. You can walk across the fields and lane to town, but you really are better driving. There is a big garden with plenty of space for the children. Everything you need for 10 people to enjoy inside and out, plenty of seating and sun beds. Bernadette has a good eye and the house is very tastefully decorated. Queries were answered very quickly. "This was a wonderful place, ideal both for relaxation and from which to explore the area. The location was so peaceful and the gite had everything that we could need. We loved having the pool and Martin, Gwen and family were the perfect considerate hosts with great recommendations on local restaurants and Caves. "Our family had a lovely time at De La Truffiere. It is in a quiet location in the countryside but fairly close to Bergerac for shopping and other conveniences. The house is well equipped and has plenty of space to allow family members to do their own thing. It was too early to use the pool but we enjoyed playing ping pong, going on walks in the country and dining on the patio. We would definitely stay there again."

"This house is charming and is well located for enjoying the Perigord. Tremolat has two great restaurants (one world class) and and good neighbourhood bar/café. The house has everything you’d want but as others have noticed, a bit less in the cupboards would help visitors stow their own kitchen stuff. I would have added one more star if there were garden furniture stuff such as parasols to cover the sitting out areas."

"We stayed in one of their standard rooms which was cosy and beautifully clean. We had a candlelit dinner on the terrace and breakfast the next day, the food was excellent. We also made use of their pool area which was very serene. I would also like to mention that their staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all we had a lovely stay. "
