“Beautiful sea views, really enjoyed stay”
We upgraded on arrival to Junior suite. Sea view fantastic, private balcony, proper double bed. Every aspect good but we first booked superior double which we saw on arrival. It was right next to dining room, this room wouldn't have been so good. However staff very helpful and enthusiastic, thermal pool and facilities very good. Big plus - bus stop enabling access to rest of island right outside hotel.

lovely hotel in a peaceful position just a short taxi ride to the town of Ischia. friendly helpful staff gave helpful advice on beaches to visit etc. Our room had beautiful view of the bay of Naples. Lots of nice places to sit and take in the views.Great facilities for a small hotel and never felt cramped or too busy. A really nice part of Italy to visit.

“Not Impressed”
My wife and I have stayed in many 4 star hotels in Italy and I would NOT class this a 4 star hotel. The overall decor and maintenance of the place looked tired and could do mith a makeover. Most although not all the staff were dour and not welcoming. Breakfast buffet was very poor. Poolside food was adequate. Safe to say I wouldn't recommend this hotel and certainly not at the prices charged. Only saving grace was the fantastic view from the balcony across the bay of Naples.
“Not impressed at all...”
This hotel has nice views and a reasonable pool but for the price, the service and the facilities are very poor. We arrived expecting a spa hotel and realised it is at best a 3 star! The food at the hotel was terrible. We actually left the hotel a day early without a refund because it was so bad. Service is very poor and the hotel caters more for travelers that stay as part of all-in packages there. We did end up laughing at what is definitely an Italian 'faulty towers' - Basil, Manuel and all! It was only when we were (quietly) checking out early that anyone even pretended to be concerned about what kind of service we were getting. This was the first time I have ever left a hotel early! To give a couple of examples of the issues - on arrival, the toilet was not cleaned properly in our room; the reception staff were rude and patronising; we asked to sit at a window table at breakfast but were refused it even though nobody sat there or the surrounding tables, after we sat down; the food was overpriced and expensive; and the drinks were 5 star prices! Avoid if you are looking for something more than the views (which you get at most hotels on an island!)
