“Would visit again without hesitation”
We arrived earley and were warmly welcomed.Secure facilities for leaving bags while we went for a walk. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Room was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and spacious. Internet facilities available, selection of interesting booksavailable to read.Staff friendly and very helpful.

My travel experience was really good and nice. This was my first time in Austria and I would like to be there soon. The food, people, culture is beautiful.
“Clean and close to the train station (7 blocks)”
The location of the hotel is fabulous. It is close to many shops as well as restaurants. We were very pleased with the restaurant that is located within the hotel. The breakfast that is included with the room rates gives you a wide variety of items to choose from and fills you up for a good portion of the day. The only down side that we found would be the size of the room, which is very small, the noise level outside and the "hot air" which blows in the bathroom continuously with no shut-off button.
“The Best Place for a Tourist to stay in Innsbruck”
The Golden Eagle hotel is old and that is its appeal. If you want a 40 story glass tower attached to a convention center look elsewhere. If you want to really experience the 11th century flavor of old town Innsbruck, this is the place. You are literally in the heart of old town, everything is close, and you can check off one of the sites to see on all of the tours because you will be staying there. The food is good, the rooms are small but clean, the vibe is perfect. Visiting Innsbruck, I wouldn not stay anywhere else.

This is an excellent hotel with bags of character and fantastic location in the old town. So much history in the building with many famous historical figures that have stayed there (the rooms are named after the most famous) including Mozart. It has a wonderful location in the old town, just a few steps away from the famous Golden Roof, with many restaurants and bars in the area. Breath taking views of the mountains from the front of the hotel. The reataurant serves excellent food. Best hotel in Innsbruck!
“One of Innsbruck's bes and most distingushed hotels.”
High quality service in the historical old town of Innsbruck, just atound the corner from tourist attractions and from Congress Center. Luxury in historical and cultivated atmosphere, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast (included), excellent retaurant.
“Excellent location but noisy”
We were very happy with the location of our hotel except for the outside noise late evening and early morning. it was so warm while we were there that we had to leave our windows open all night which didn't help We are aware that in a prime location in a city centre we are bound to get some noise and we do feel that the location compensated fro the noise. We were there for 4 nights which was probably long enough for interrupted sleep. The receptionist there was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was reasonable apart from the cooked bacon and eggs which sat in a heated container all the time. Our room was not particularly large, the biggest draw back was very little hanging space and no drawers. It was however very clean and the bathroom was a reasonable size.
