"We had the privilege of staying here with our family over Christmas. The furniture was comfortable so we could just relax and enjoy. The gas fireplace was a nice touch. The grill was great as we did a BBQ for the whole family. We had a terrific time here with family and relaxing. I will say that the pictures do make the cabin look larger than it actually is."

"The property is very nice and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the heated plunge pool many times during our stay. Kris was very responsive to any of our questions. The property is located within a few miles of numerous hikes. The area is quiet in the off season, so restaurant selection was a bit limited, but a great BBQ place is next door."

"My daughter and I stayed at Carl’s place for a few days to see the eclipse. The chalet is absolutely lovely and we loved waking up each morning to the sunrise & the trees and the view of the lake…it was magical. "We came here for a few days during the solar eclipse. Melissa and scott, the care talkers, were very sweet and attentive. A car accident had actually knocked out power to the whole town just before we showed up, but the place has a generator so we still had everything! cabin is a10 minute walk from town which was really fun to explore! "We found the place very comfortable and cozy! It is about a 10 minute drive to old forge which is so convenient to skiing and hiking. We visit the area frequently and are fortunate to find this place which had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the layout of the house is spacious and inviting. "This place is awesome! I feel like the pictures don’t really do it justice. The kitchen is wide open to the family room with a great island and the dining room table sits 8-10 ppl. It’s so close to town, as well, BUT it doesn’t feel like it. The property manager, Jason, was so prompt with my questions, and was a true professional. I HIGHLY recommend this sweet house!"

"This hotel is not a luxury hotel but it’s a great old forge stay. Rooms can use some updating but the beds are comfortable and the most of the furnishings are cute and rustic. The biggest draw for me with this hotel is when on the motorcycle you can park at your door, there are gorgeous chairs outside of each room for use and everything is in walking distance. Staff is always really friendly here and it’s just a good simple comfortable good rated stay each time!"
