"Two of my favorite things about this hotel are tue friendliness of the staff and the security of the hotel. You have to have a key card in order to access any of the floors that were not the main floor or lobby floor. They were in the middle of renovations to upgrade the elevators and other areas of the hotel. Very well maintained and taken care of. Would definitely stay again when visiting Seattle! "

"Read all the reviews - age of the property, no A/C. Booked it anyway based on price and location. The area is leafy, a few high end restaurants, steep incline from Pike Place. It's 100 years old and nicely appointed for it's age. Windows open & they have fans. Two lovely patios. Quiet despite hospital across street. No real homeless presence. Absolutely loved it and would stay again."
