“Great Hotel in Hue”

Lovely hotel in a great location, with walking distance to Old city and great places to eat. Staff were lovely and made sure to check up on our stay and if we needed any advice. Room was comfortable with all the mod cons.

“Excellent staff and clean room.”

The staff at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. The hotel has a very nice view from the restaurant on the top floor, but the food was just average. But to be fair, I didn't find the food in Northern and Central vietnam very impressive at all on this entire trip. All in all, I think you can't really go wrong with this hotel.

“Sweating in Vietnam”

We had some trouble booking some local flights online and I think the staff saw my frustration and took over. They would leave us until we were totally satisfied. The girl behing the desk went out and picke dup our tickets. They were wonderfull. Food was good as well , room was very comfortable and affordable

“Would go back....”

Although still in soft opening according to letter in room the hotel is very pleasant, within walking distance of the river, has good views from rooftop restaurant and pool, and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, and room quite comfortable. Good value.

“Good Location”

Good location with good size rooms and bathroom with a bath a shower, which was good for our little girl. The bed was a little hard for my liking and meant I didn't sleep very well. Not all of the hotels facilities were available during our stay. We had access to one restaurant only and the roof-top bar was being renovated at the time. The pool was refreshing and offered a view of the surrounding areas. The ability to open windows within the room and restaurant was a little concerning with a toddler but we managed this OK. The staff was helpful but at time there was a language barrier, however there was normally someone who could come to our aid. The airconditioning within the room struggled to cool as there was none on in the halls or other parts of the hotel adjacent to the rooms. We had the aircon on 16 degrees most of the time but it felt like 24 degrees or so. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Romance hotel.

“Good Hotel for good price”

We were very satisfied with the hotel and our stay. Good breakfast buffet, nice pool on roof top and good location to the close restaurant neighbourhood. We would certainly go again.

“Great Value for Money”

The hotel was fantastic. The location was tremendous but in a run down street. It is easy walking to the river and even the Citidel is a nice but reasonable walk. The dining room was acceptable although I arrived before a rather large group arrived but they were served well before me. The roof top pool is small and needs a little repairs and maintanance but overall I would recommend this hotel as very comfortable and great value for money.

“Great value for money”

The room was fine and was happy with the number of English speaking channels available. The staff generally were very good. However when I got to the restaurant for dinner, not long after I arrived, and just after I gave my order, all priority went to the group who got through some of their courses before I was given food. Breakfast was comprehensive and excellent. The hotel is in a very busy part of town yet there was very limited noise within the building.

“False advertising!”

Room not as advertised. Deluxe room had no balcony, no Plasma, no pillow top bed, no wifi in rooms. The room also stank of rising damp, and the reception staff were rude. Also ninth floor up window presented safety hazard for our young son. Definitely not recommended.
