I really wanted to like this place, I read the reviews, knew it was not going to be like the pictures, but did not mind "outdated" because I am travelling alone and was not planning on staying much in the room. However, there were many issues, I was left disappointed, especially at that price. Pros: The staff were very nice, check in/out was easy. The location is great. They offer free luggage storage if you need it after checking out. Easy towel rental. Cons: Breakfast was a joke, no protein, no toast, no fruits, basically cereals, small muffins and jello cups. The room is in fact very outdated and degrating, but overall clean. Many issues: ants everywhere, don't leave food out (on table, backpack, takeout box, etc.), you'll lose it. Every single plug stopped working after 10min, needed to keep switching to charge phone. Shower drain was clogged at arrival, found out I had to manually pull it up every time the cleaning staff came. Lights either did not work or were flickering. You can hear people talking and cars passing outside. The blanket is practically non-existent, just a thin layer, I was freezing at night even with the room temperature set to 78 F/25 C. Other issues: hotel charges you without consent or invoice (even Expedia was not aware) upon booking (says free booking and cancelation), under an untraceable name, which caused a credit card replacement because it was flagged as a fraud. Was never able to reach anyone via phone long dist(nor from the room actually).

I would definitely stay here again. The staff are so kind and helpful! Our room was cleaned daily and parking with valet service is available. This hotel is beautiful, super conveniently located for walking around Waikiki, and clean! No complaints.

Though we only stayed in the room for resting periods, the staff were always welcoming, helpful with questions, and guides to the facilities. The location is very good as it is literally half a block from the main busy shopping street of Honolulu. So many locations and restaurants are in walking distance from the hotel which made it easier to deal with the busy hours around the hotel.

Great boutique hotel with great staff. Showing a little age in areas, but the location, staff and price far make up the little maintenance issues. Two thumbs up. Would go back there again and again.

Hotel is cute, and the room have a good practical set up, little table and chairs to have coffee/snack at, dimming lights by the bed, it’s old, dated, little dirty but dirty from just being old. Lots of fees, only valley parking (which is pretty normal). Lots of restaurants within 1 or 2 blocks

We stayed a week for our family spring vacation. The location was excellent, walking distance from Waikiki main street and beach. Hotel parking was kind of expensive (40$/night) but convenient. Considering the excellent location, we were thinking that we might not need car for the entire week. The hotel staff were kind and helpful. The down side was the hotel breakfast which is far from whatever you may call breakfast (it is basically crescents and cereal (no cheese, no butter, no eggs, no warm foods, no bread, nothing else). Our large family room was on the street side and there was a night club nearby which made too much noise and shouting all night even until 4am. It was really annoying. The beds were small and difficult to be used for two people. The blankets were really small. The sink inside the room was stinky. All in all, we will not stay there next time.

I picked this hotel due to the picture of their breakfast. But their breakfast was nothing like the picture. In the picture they had fresh fruit and other goodies. They actually had fruit cocktail like kids get for lunches and jello. Sugary cereal that was a bit stale, nice little croissants but no butter. The juice was good. The staff made up for the terrible breakfast. They were super nice and you could borrow towels and beach chairs. The parking was $45 for valet if you want in and out privileges, or $35 for once in per day. It is half a block from the super expensive part of Waikiki with Dior, Luis Vuitton etc half a block away so much too expensive for the normal person.

Hotel is clean and service is great and located across the famous waikiki shopping mall. we used daily valet parking and would go out everyday to try different sightseeing in ohau and also spend some days on the beach. Overall it was a great stay.

The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and common areas were set up in a comfortable way. Our room was spacious and we loved the balcony. The only downfall, which is out of the hotel's hands, was the very very loud partying very close by. Closing the doors helped a lot, but the people were just very loud downstairs. Besides that, the actual hotel was great and we'd definitely consider staying again if we were in the neighborhood. Thank you

The pictures are not up to date but I do get it , you get what you pay for . I called before hand to be sure I had a room with certain amenities and it was not honored and upon checking in there were additional fees that weren’t written in the itinerary and or confirmation email . If you don’t plan to spend much time in your room it’s fine but for a stay-cation it wasn’t my favorite choice and I dint care for the service .

The property is dated but clean, beds were comfortable, nice to have access to breakfast, luggage storage and beach towels and chairs, but unfortunately it was extremely noisy throughput the whole night, didn’t get much sleep

A pleasant boutique hotel in the Waikiki neighborhood. Close to many shops and restaurants and about a five-minute walk to the beach. The staff were friendly. Overall, a great experience!

Excellent location and wonderful staff. Only downside was the parking lot behind the hotel— fine during the day but incredibly loud and disruptive at night. This is not the hotel’s fault, however.

The staff is fantastic! They let us leave our bags and check in early. They always had fresh beach towels. The pool is the size of s stamp. There is a pretty koi pond near the check-in, which feels really special, tropical and local. The location is good enough. It's a quick walk to the beach. There is a pupu bar below and they party (karaoke) until 3:30, so you need to keep the door to the balcony closed. The bathroom is one star. The skink faucet leaks all over the counter, the toilet "runs", you get 2 bath towels to start, the tub was oval and didn't fit a grown man and was stained (but clean). The view was of the street, nothing special. The breakfast is not "continental". It's all brown...cereal, toast, waffles, muffins, cup of fruit. Nothing fresh. This is one instance where you get what you pay for.

Overall really poor hotel. Finding parking spot was just horrible. I don’t think this is just the problem of the hotel but in general in Hawaii you can’t find a parking spot. Also, staff members were so unprofessional- they had a hard time finding booking information under my name and kinda screwed my payment at first.
