“Hotel Jen, What a gem!”
A very modern, clean and tastefully decorated hotel. The room was small but not a problem. The bathroom all new and very chic.
“Hotel Jen in Hong Kong highly recommended”
Our tour group consisted of 8 people. We had 4 rooms, 3 of which Hotel Jen upgraded for us from mountain view to harbour view. The rooms were wonderfully comfortable, clean and well serviced. Management and staff were extremely helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble in assisting us to enjoy our stay. The Sky Lounge on the 28th floor had a lovely ambience where we could appreciate the spectacular view of the harbour at breakfast and see the night lights over a few drinks in the evening, whilst chatting about our day's travels. On our last day our flight was at midnight and management were kind enough to allow us to freshen up at the hotel before departing by bus for the airport, despite the fact that we had already booked out that morning. Thanks Hotel Jen, we hope to visit you again soon!
“very good”
good choice
“excellent hotel”
Good location 1 block away from tram stop which cost less than 20p to central staation would stay again without question
“A very good hotel at a very good price.”
We had a most happy and comfortable week at the Jen and will certainly use it again when we are in Hong Kong. The rooms are well refurbished and clean. The only small point of concern is the small wardrobe space, but that is easy to live with. Meals and service were very good, the local area has quite a useful shopping mall including a HSBC Bank branch only 2 minutes walk away and picking up a taxi is as simple as standing right outside the door with your hand up. Good staff and good service at a good price.
“very impressed”
The room is not spacious. But that is quite true for most HK hotels. I like the location that is close to everything.
“Wonderful small hotel on Hong Kong Island”
Hotel Jen was a wonderful alternative to the usual chain hotels found everywhere. Small, you get a lot of personal attention. The staff speaks perfect English and is very helpful with directions and guidance for public transportation. Very well located with view on the harbor. Rooftop pool offers great city views. I will go back any time.
“Excellent hotel in fascinating part of HK”
We really enjoyed our stay at this clean, pleasant hotel. The local area was fascinating, and we enjoyed our ride into Central and Kowloon each day on the tram. Try using the local, and very cheap, public transport rather than the hotel shuttle bus.
“great, stylish hotel”
Great modern hotel with stylish rooms in the middle of a mostly chinese, buzzling area of Hong Kong Island. A gym and outdoor pool on the 28th floor. Very close to Hong Kong University (walking 10 min, with a long escalator up the hill). Spectacular views towards the bay and the hillside. Only minus: I did not realize the expedia offered room is a 'room without benefits', i.e. it does not include free internet or breakfast or wines and cheese for happy hour.
“a must stay if you wants something a little out of the party district”
nice staff, plenty of service and a very comfortable and enjoyable vibe.

Area:
Western District, Hong Kong: Get a feel for the Hong Kong of old. Start at the Chinese Central Market (the tender-hearted should avoid the lower floors, where poultry butchering takes place) on the corner of Queen Victoria Street and meander down narrow laneways where herbalists and other traditional shopkeepers display their wares. Dont miss the worlds longest outdoor escalator, at 880 meters, which also provides sweeping district views.
