Very friendly and helpful staff, room was a bit small but very clean. Love the kitchenette on each floor.

Liked: Cleanliness
The room is clean , size is better than Japan's hotel, downside is you won't find a electric socket in the bathroom but for the price ($70cad/night) it is a good choice.
This is my fourth time to stay in South Nest, so the facts tell. Staff are helpful and polite, room is always clean, the house keepers are so thoughtful…. I definitely will come back !
Overall it was an average stay at this location. Booking confirmed as an adjoining room but turns out they were only 2 rooms side by side with no connecting door in between two rooms. Location is convenient with local eats surrounded. Transit getting to city is also great with lots of local bus service station nearby. Be aware that lots of group tours will be gathering in the morning check out and evening check in which makes this place loud and messy. People also like to talk loudly in the hallway at 6:15am in the morning to wake up others. It happened at least 5-7 times for our 11 days stay at this place.
This serviced apartment is fine and a good value for the money. Please know the hotel rooms in Hong Kong are tiny. There is no storage even for luggage. This is typical of Hong Kong, not just this accommodation.
Location is good with easy access to a lot of different bus routes taking you to anywhere in HK after you figure out how to connect them with MTR services.
The room is small but clean with comfortable beds, I like the idea of having a communal kitchen a dining area on the ground floor for customers to use.
This compensates for the smaller size room and also helps to keep the room clean.
Staff are mostly friendly.
The one not so good thing was that one of the 2 elevators was out of order after Christmas, the hotel is full house, the lift was still not working after more than 4 days which is really causing a lot of inconvenience.
My second time staying at SN. Staff are friendly and always do their best getting stuff done for you. Also thanks the cleaning staff. They keep my room always fresh and clean. This time, I get a room in the end of the hallway on 22nd floor. I like to sit by the window enjoying the view of Aberdeen harbour and the ocean. Even it’s not a full open view, it’s still soothing and beautiful. For more of the harbour, it’s within 15 minutes from the hotel.
This time I also use the exercise rooms on lower ground floor. The yoga room fits only one person but good enough for a full set of stretching exercises. The fitness room gives you the basic workout stuff. They are next to the laundry room where you can use the washer and dryer for less than CAD$ 8.00.
If there is one thing that South Nest could do better, it would be to remind the visitors to keep the common space quiet and clean. Too often, I was waken up by the noise they made as early as 5:30 am. I know there is just so much the staff could do and they are doing their best already. I will still be back on my next visit. Bye for now!
Clean room, clean facilities. Appreciated having a kettle in the room. Well designed room that used space efficiently. Wish there were a few more hooks for hanging towels and a bit more space for hanging clothes. Nice view. Excellent price. Nice staff.
Great to have a kitchen on every floor and a spacious common area on the main floor. Kitchen could be a bit more well equipped for hotel guests. Need plates, bowls and cutlery.
I stayed here for 15 nights to August 9th 2025. I found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating, The room service girls were amazing and made the room spotless EACH DAY. The bus services from Aberdeen were frequent and easy to navigate. I would recommend this hotel South Nest, and Aberdeen is an amazing place to stay or use as a base.
First off, the staff and cleaning ladies are all outstanding. Always looking after their guests and doing their jobs well. The facilities - pantry on every floor, laundry room, cardio machines, gym and yoga rooms - are impressive compared with the affordable price we paid. This is my third stay in three years. Still enjoyed South Nest a lot. Here is the thing! They started to rigidly require the perfect match between guest name and the official name on passport. Even though they recognized it’s my third time staying there, they refused to let me check in. Expedia’s Hong Kong Office couldn’t do anything, nor the AI chat-box of their online platforms (website or app). I arrived late at night after 20+ hours of flights. It took over an hour waiting for them to finally let me in! Expedia and the hotel management not only failed me but also their staff!!
