“Nice hotel convenient to the airport”

The hotel is very convenient to the airport - the hotel shuttle takes about 5 minutes - once you find out where the shuttle is. Its a modern hotel with the "new" room design that does not have bathroom walls. May be problematic for some. The toilet and shower are in separate private areas. Room was very clean and nicely furnished. The hotel is attached to a small shopping center with a food court and some factory outlets. There is a large grocery store in the basement floor of the shopping center. Overall a very pleasent stay.

“Very comfortable experienc”

We were very happy with the condition and comfort of the room, the shuttle service and the location. It was also handy being close to eateries and shopping facilities in the nearby shopping complex. The only problem we found was in the morning when we wanted to check out, we had to queue longer than expected, especially when we wanted to get to the airport asap. Overall, a positive experience.

“Novotel Citygate, Hong Kong”

The hotel's shuttle service which was excellent, and got to the hotel around 7:45 a.m. I asked for and received an early check in. The hotel staff was excellent: the room was clean and nicely furnished. I upgraded to the business floor and the buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktails were included. One nice feature is that the hotel is connected to a large shopping center, and to the subway. A great place to stay and I recommend it to anyone travelling to Hong Kong.

“Airport Surprise”

This hotel has many other features to recommend it in addition to being close to the airport. It is adjacent to a mall with many upscale outlets (Burberry, Aquascutum etc) and a couple of good coffee shops.5 mins walk through the mall brings you to the train (MTR) station that will take you to Central in under 30 mins . There is a seaside pathway between the high rise blocks and the coast which is excellent for walking or jogging - Hong Kong does not many opportunities to get some fresh air.

“Not your Ordinary Airprt Hotel!”

We had completed a 17 night tour in China and stayed at the Novotel Citygate the last night of our stay. We chose this hotel due to closeness to airport and free shuttle. We arrived late and departed early. The experience was 100% satisfactory. We received keen attention upon arrival & departure despite late/early hours. We were wowed by the sleek, contemporary accommodations and wish we had more time to enjoy this 1st class hotel. We expected a delivery of custom made suits and were disappointed they had not arrived since our connection time was tight. Upon our return to the states we investigated the non-delivery to find the suits had been delivered to the hotel. The management was very apologetic and FedExed the suits to us receiving within two days after our return. Only wish we had spent more time there to enjoy the beautiful resort-like pool and convenient MTR (subway) service to Hong Kong. We highly recommend this hotel.

“Excellent stay”

I was flying back home the next day and wanted to visit the buddah via the ngong ping 360 cable car plus some final shopping. This hotel had it all and more. Really nice modern hotel with excellent staff. The icing on the cake was the shuttle to the airport which finished the stay off with comfort. Would recommend this hotel.

“An excellent hotel”

Despite the renovations going on, the hotel was extremely comfortable and quiet. I only marked the Condition item down for minor factors - the reason the renovations are happening in fact. Vert pleasant and helpful staff, good quality cafe and restaurants, adjacent to a quality shopping mall and transport hub: good value for money.

“Perfect for short stopover.”

Perfect for short stopover. We had one day for Disney Land, and this hotel, two stops away by train, not far from the airport, linked to a large shopping mall, was perfect. Friendly and comfortable and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again.
