“Butler service 24/7”
I was trying to order a lot of different things but it will be fixed ANYTHING by 1 call. This service is pretty cool and guaranteed it will be fixed. Very impressive.
“Intercontinental Hong Kong a bit tired”
We were really looking forward to a great break here and were willing to pay for the privilege of staying in a five star hotel and extra for the harbour view. Yes the view over the harbour is fantastic and the staff were very good but the hotel is showing its age and worst of all there is a giant building site next to the hotel which has constant jack hammering. The horizon pool for example now looks over the construction site, so don’t expect to be able to relax next to the pool. I was also disappointed to have to pay an extra premium to get Wi-Fi in my room. I expect that to be included at this level of hotel. There is a lot of competition for my hotel dollar in Hong Kong and I would be reluctant to suggest the Intercontinental as a first choice now.
“Unforgetable experienced hotel”
It has a nice harbor view room and especially I may have a nice night harbr view when I lie in the bed, it causes me to have a nice dream!
“Pay the little extra for the Superior Harbour View, it's fantastic and a beautiful night light show!”
We were impressed right from our drive up to the door, very professional and welcoming. The staff's English is very good so you immediately feel at home. This was our second prepaid trip through Expedia and everything went smooth. Lots to see and do in Kowloon, and Hong Kong Island is only a short Subway (MTR) ride away. Victoria Peak is a must, both day and night. Spend a little extra and get a window seat for a meal at the 'Pearl on the Peak'! We don't know that much Chinese and got around very well. Taxi's to and from the hotel ran an honest fare... no issues! The MTR grid has expansive underground links with lots of shops and connections to Malls. Take the Ferry to Macau for a day's adventure. We hired a bicycle drawn cart for a few hours to see many of the common tourist sites in Macau, an excellent day. Overall a positive experience without the rip-off pressure we found in Beijing! Can't wait to go again!!
“Excellent Hotel”
I cannot fault this hotel. It is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. The service was absolutely amazing and I was happy with everything about my stay. The rooms were large, the bathroom was extremely spacious, and the hotel ambiance was wonderful. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to HK.
“3 days on Hong Kong harbor”
Excellent hotel - clean, great service, great location. Be prepared for dinner price sticker shock - particularly the cost of a glass of wine.
“What a Treat!”
Hotel accommodations, staff, and location were terrific. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Easy access to almost everything.
“Excellent location and good service”
The hotel upgraded us to a huge room with harbour view and private outside terrace, which was very nice! Good service and amenities. Easy walking distance to subway and Kowloon's major shopping areas.
“1”
Always return to this hotel because of its wonderful position on Hong Kong harbour, the views are absolutely stunning. . Wonderfuk dining and lounge areas. Worth the walk to the hotel!
“Reliable top-class hotel”
We have stayed at the Intercontinental HK before and the service remained exceptional - we were greeted promptly and courteously at check in and throughout our stay. Check-in was done in the room and housekeeping kept us well stocked and were very obliging when it came to catering for our 3 year old. We would have liked a room higher up, especially given the noise from the harbourside walkway and the fact we were staying for a week but the room was nevertheless spacious and had a great view of the harbour for the chinese NY fireworks.
