“excellent hotel”
very brief stay in this hotel but it was fantastic. My boss tells me the rooms are bigger than you normally find in Hong Kong. Staff were very friendly. Price of breakfast was also reasonable. I impressed my boss with this find!
“GREAT FIND IN HONG KONG”
Great find and value in Hong Kong. Quick check in, entered room to fabulous panoramic view of the harbor. The room is small, but well appointed, large mirror to multiply the space, high quality bed and bath linens, lots of marble and mirrors in small bathroom (shower, no bath) and lots of fine toiletries. Two blocks from the Peninsula. Not hard to find - take airport train to Kowloon Station, then free K3 bus two stops to Holiday Inn. Keep walking straight, one or two blocks, turn left on Hart Street and you will see the hotel on your right.. I would stay again in a moment.
“Fantastic hotel, great view”
Incredible service, food fantastic. Best hotel found in Hong Kong.
“The Panorama is an absolute GEM!!”
My wife & I recently stayed at the Panorama for 4 nights. The Panorama is situated in Kowloon very close to the harbour (less than 10 mins walk) and shopping is right on your doorstop, both on Nathan Road and the incredible 'Harbour City' shopping centre next to the Star Ferry terminal. The staff on arrival couldn't have been more friendly & helpful. The room was great - very quiet in the evenings and larger than a lot of Hong Kong hotel rooms, but it was the view that took our breath away - it's simply sensational. We paid a bit extra and booked a Platinum room (these are situated on the higher floors) and 75% of all rooms in this hotel are harbour-facing which makes for fabulous views, especially in the evenings. If you're not quite as lucky with your room then there's a rooftop garden on the 40th floor which offers the same fabulous views without the windows ensuring that you'll get some great photos. It's worth going up there just before 8pm so as to watch the laser show - there you can take some great pictures. The bar/restaurant on the 38th floor does a great breakfast and serves drinks & cocktails in the evening (it's open until about 1.30am) - the barman is a great guy - he serves up a great Mojito. In fact, every one of the staff we spoke to in this hotel were great - very friendly and welcoming. Each time I've stayed in Hong Kong, I've always stayed somewhere different, but next time I'll definitely be going back to this hotel as my first choice.
“Excellent location, fantastic views”
We stayed on the 36th floor, the views were amazing. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with all mod cons. Location in Kowloon was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel.
“A great experience!”
Having ummed and aahed about where to stay we plumped for the Hotel Panorama due primarily to its location and cost - similar hotels seemed a lot more pricey. We arrived on the evening of Chinese New Year, and having taken a taxi from Kowloon Airport Express Station, found the surrounding roads to our hotel closed. This did not bode well but on the taxi driver calling the hotel, the hotel sent a porter to us (without our having to ask) who must have run all the way given he only took a couple of minutes to reach us, and came armed with a trolley. We were then met at the door by reception who apologised for the service!! Our room was outstanding - OK we were upgraded from a Platinum Superior to a Platinum Deluxe , but I don;t think it is that rare for them to do this. Everything the hotel was meant to deliver it did - what more can you ask for? Even if you don;t have a harbour view room the restaurant, bar and roof garden allow you to enjoy this whenever you want.
“Great hotel”
Conveniently located, friendly staff and excellent quality rooms.
“nice view in kowloon”
Lovely room for the price and nice view. A bit small (but just fine for HK) and very accommodating staff.
“ill go back next year”
I haev stayed at this hotel before. I have never had a bad experience. Staff are friendly, the rooms are well designed, if small. The view from the higher floors is fantastic.
“It's all about the view and then some....”
They billed this hotel as having fantastic view of the city, whether it is the harbour or the city, if you are above the 29 floor. As for the hotel, it was easy for our tax driver to find it. It was nice because it is not on a busy street like Nathan with all its busy and bustling people. I have been to Hong Kong before and having this extra service helps at the Hotel Panorama. The room is clean yet narrow. I have just enough room for the chair to come out, but of course the bed is big enough for the room. TV is flat screen 32"
