“"One Night Stand"”
Overnight transit stay as a result of the Qantas debacle early November. Everything was good about hotel. A little disappointed room service was the only eating option on arrival (late night) & limited lifts to upper floors could give long walk along corridors to/from room. Neither a major issue. Located only minutes from airport and regular shuttle most convenient. Location not good for main HK attractions but excellent for a quiet holiday (golf course almost on doorstep! Overall excellent quality and room was spotless. Pesonalised welcome message on TV screen was a nice touch.
“3rd time staying here. Short shuttle ride. Good, comfortable room.”
This is my third time staying here. After a long flight, it's a short shuttle ride from arrival terminal to hotel. Good comfortable room. No complaints here.
“Very good airport hotel”
Passing through Hong Kong on the way from the US to Singapore, with 12 hours between flights and no desire to traipse home in the interim, I booked a room at the Skycity Marriott. The hotel isn't directly linked to the airport, but just a free 5 minute shuttle bus ride away; once at the hotel, check-in was swift and we got to our room without fuss. The hotel is quite big and laid out with all the lifts in one area, so some rooms are a long walk to get to. The room itself (a deluxe ocean view) is nice and big, with a good shower, a comfortable bed and a fairly good view, although having come in late at night and left in the morning, we didn't have much time to look out of the window. Room service is 24 hour and was prompt when we ordered dinner at 10.45pm; there's a good selection of cuisine although obviously biassed to the international traveller - for something more 'authentically' Chinese I would expect you to take the train into Hong Kong rather than stay in an air-conditioned hotel on the periphery of things. Check out was likewise very efficient. It's not the most characterful of establishments, but for a short stopover at Hong Kong it was a good, efficient place to stay for the night.
“best stay for your last nights in hk”
given it's proximity to the airport, this hotel is the ideal place to stay if you are still up for last minute adventures in lantau or if you are just in transit between places of travel. service is exemplary and the facilities are more than adequate if you chose to stay in or if you opt to use the free shuttle service to the tung chung town which takes around 15 mins. the breakfast in the bistro was great and our family tried the indoor pool. only drawback is no free wifi unlike hk hotels.
“Best Hotel at HKG”
In my mind there are only two "airport hotels" in Hong Kong. The Regal is contiguous with the hotel terminal, and the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel is a short, free shuttle away. The Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel is by far the better value. Rooms are large and well furnished.
“Great for a short trip”
Pleasantly suprised by the hotel. Check-in time took less than 10 minutes, with complementary late check out offered. Shuttle to and from disneyland was on time. Would definitely stay again.
“Can't wait to go back”
Our room was quite large with beautiful harbor view, very clean and comfortable. The staffs were very friendly. The front desk was very helpful with where to go and how to get there. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. Shuttles were available to and from the airport every 20 minutes. It was a very relaxing experience.
“would go back there anytime”
The Hotel was truly a 41/2 star even you could say a 5 star hotel . The staff spoke very good english were polite and extremely helpful will all aspects that a foreigner could want. The breafeast buffet was terrific with a hugh selection of many different foods for all nationalities. the room was quite large and very clean. The staff were always checking to see if you were satisfied and if you needed anyhting. The front desk was very helpful with where to go and how to get there. It was a graduation present for my Grandson and he had a wonderful experience being overseas for the first time.
“Awesome in every way!”
For a family visiting Disneyland, this hotel was perfect. Shuttles were available to and from the local City Gate outlet mall every 30 minutes and to Disneyland in the morning and evening. Our room on the Executive Level gave us access to the lounge that offered drinks and snacks all day along with evening or d'oeuvres and cocktails. The swimming pool was beautiful, the health and fitness center well outfitted and maintained. We WILL visit again.
“Refuge after/before long flight”
After a long flight arriving at night, this hotel was a refuge minutes away from the airport with a shuttle (or short taxi ride). Enjoyed the infinity pool and dim sum in the hotel restaurant was excellent and memorable part of our trip..really is a refuge which we enjoyed after a 16 hour flight and then made reservations to stay the night before leaving on return to the USA. Would highly recommend with level of service far above the usual "airport hotels".
