Considering the price and value, I was extremely satisfied. Will choose this again for future stays. However they are not always listed on your hotels of choices.

“Very impressed”

We chose this hotel as it had suites which could accommodate us as a family of 4. The rooms were lovely and there was plenty of room without us all being on top of each other. Even though this is a hotel, the kitchen within the suite was very well equipped and we were very impressed with the whole set up. There was also an excellent shuttle bus service every half an hour which took us in and out of town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and thought that the hotel staff were very knowledgeable and friendly.

OUR EXPIRIENCE AT THE HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT,CONSIDERING SERVICE,ROOM CONFORT AND CLEANLINESS. THE LOCALIZATION IS EXCELLENT. NEXT TO THE HOTEL THERE IS A METRO TERMINAL AND YOU CAN MOVE TO ALL PLACES FROM THERE. WE WERE THERE ON NEW YEAR EVE AND WE SAW THE SPECTACULAR FIRE WORKS FROM OUR ROOM,SINCE WE HAVE A BEATIFULL VIEW OF HONG KONG ISLAND. ALSO THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD.

“Fine for business or for pleasure”

I have stayed in this hotel on business once 6 months ago and I have just booked a second stay. While some of the staff did not always communicate in English as well as others, overall I was very pleased with all aspects and it is far better than many of the 4 star hotels I have stayed at. Great transport links and I recommend you upgrade to a Club Superior Room as this gives you continental Breakfast, free Internet (subject to limits) and use of the Executive lounge which has many benefits including free drinks and snacks in the evening and express check out for just a little extra.

We stayed in one of the Club Floor rooms and were impressed by the service. (Separate check-in and check-out.) The room was not particularly large but did have a fridge-freezer, microwave and a two ring hob and a large ensuite shower room. We were told that there was some work being done in some of the rooms to put in baths and that there might be some noise during the day but we only heard a bit of noise on one afaternoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel was a little bit away from the main shopping area of Kowloon, the courtesy shuttle bus to the sister hotel in the centre was much appreciated.

“Friendly & clean hotel on mainland Hong Kong”

As a family visiting Hong Kong for the first time, we were a little concerned about what the hotel and location would be like... We were very pleasantly surprised by the level of service in this hotel, the staff were extremley helpful and friendly and we can not thank them enough for making our stay a very enjoyable experience. This is a lovely hotel which was value for money and we would deffinately return. The only areas I would mention to other families visiting the hotel would be that the double sofa bed in the rooms was not very comfortable and the shopping mall attached was 90% wedding shops, which was a bit disappointing. But overall I would give the hotel a 95% rating - as a family we really enjoyed the swimming pool which overlooks the harbour and the restaurant service and selection at the hotel.

“Harbour Plaza Metropolis”

Great location with convenient shuttle bus to Kowloon center and main MTR station, or 10-15 minute walk along the promenade. Would definately stay there again. Great for comfort, services and location.

“First Class Hotel”

A very convenient location. Easy to get to many tourist attractions, close to the train station. The attached shopping mall provides access to good local restaurants and even a very inexpensive laundry. The staff is helpful and friendly. A quality experience in every way.

“Well recommended”

My family and I stayed here for a week in June 2007. I was very pleased we booked this hotel. Although situated a little out of the way from the attractions of Kowloon and HK island, there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to and from its sister hotel 'downtown' as well as the excellent HK transport system, so it's location is really not an issue. There is a KCR underground station and railway station right outside the hotel which is very convenient. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the condition of the hotel is superb. If at all possible I'd recommend booking a harbour view room as the views of Hong Kong island are truly beautiful from here. My only minor gripe was that we couldn't get the smell of cigarettes out of our room for the first couple of days but it did eventually go and besides you can request a non smoking room on check-in. I would definately recommend this hotel to visitors to Hong Kong.
