“would definitely come back”
* centrally located - it's walking distance to most department stores like vincom,parkson & diamond plaza & off course the famous ben thanh market. vina taxi is very cheap if u don't want to walk to get around. *buffet breakfast is the best . There are a lot of variety to choose from (especially vietnamese food) and they change the menu every day so u don't get sick of the same food . * the staff in the hotel are very nice especially the one from the restaurant. They even packed us plenty of breakfast in takeaway boxes when we have to depart EARLY in the morning for Nha Trang ( u have to let them know a day ahead). *the only negative thing about this hotel is that i guess happened thru out all hotels in Saigon - their rooms insulations are very poor -- i.e u can hear noises from your surroundings . i had broken sleeps for the first 3 nights. DO NOT book rooms close to the lift - VERY NOISY. ****OVERALL I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone who want to stay central,clean and budget.

“Blue Diamond was a really good hotel”
I stayed here for 2 nights and the room was clean, fresh and comfortable, bathroom was spotless. Prior to that I ahd stayed 2 nights at the Hai Long Hotel with a group tour and this was definitely a nicer hotel. There were no windows but this is common in Vietnam. An upgrade to a superior room would give more space and possibly a window...this is worth asking about. My only problem was the room being next to a very clunky lift, so I would avoid this location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Daimond, it was located very close to the market and there were good places to eat nearby. Cab rides around town were very convenient to all the major tourist attractions. The staff was very friendly and assisted with anything we needed, including making reservations and providing advice on places to go. Location was amazing and the hotel was better then expected. This is not a western style hotel, but for the price you get more then you expect.
“Nice lovely hotel in Saigon”
Booked a premium deluxe room for 4 nights stay. The room was clean and bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was lovely with plenty to choose from. Good location within walking distance from the markets, cheap massages right next door to the hotel. Would definately recommend this hotel.
“Great location”
This hotel was located in the heart of HCM. It was a convenient walk to almost anything. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast however was poor and hard to eat. That is the only complaint however, otherwise would recommend this hotel purely for it's location.
“Great place in cool location”
Loved this place. Good bang for your buck and very good services. Not corrupted by guide book inclusion yet, but will be soon. Get there while it is still good.
“Comfortable Hotel for Short Stay”
We stayed here for 2 nights during a quick visit to HCMC. The hotel served our purpose of having somewhere cheap and clean to come back to at the end of sight seeing. The location of the hotel was really good being next to Ben Thanh Market and less than 5 mins walk to the Renufication Palace and War Remnant Museum. There was a safe in the room which was handy.
