“Old quarter excellence”
Right in the heart of the old quarter and close to bia hoi corner! Free bottle of Vietnamese red wine on arrival was a nice touch. Staff are very friendly. The breakfast is great, exactly what you need for a long day of exploring. Would definitely stay here again, in fact it's a much nicer hotel than 4 star in Malaysia.
“Everything you need in a Hotel.”
We stayed at the Hanoi Paradise. The room was clean, it was great having the internet on in the room. Fruit bowl each day was appreciated. Lisa the girl on reception is great for any tours and advice. The girls in the dining room are lovely, would be better if lunch and dinner were cooked in the hotel not sent out for. Overall for a three star hotel it is great value. Markets are just around the corner and lots of shopping all around. .
“Had a great time in Hanoi”
My partner and I arrived at the Paradise Hotel in Hanoi late afternoon in the dark. we were overwhelmed by the number of people in the street and the motor bikes parked on the footpath. There was just enough room to wheel our cases through. It was at the reception desk of the hotel that I suddenly realised that I no longer had my wallet, I had either left in in the taxi or accidentally dropped it in the rush of the moment. The staff were very kind and helpful. They assisted me to make the necessary phone call to Australia to cancel my cards, and from that moment on they became very attentive and caring. The whole experience of staying in the hotel was a pleasure. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, but take extreme care when you venture outside, as it is a different world to what we expected, much busier that Ho Chi Minh City. There are a lot of opportunists in Hanoi which first time travellers should be aware of, my recommendation is to carry small amounts of money in small denomination notes, because traders and taxi drivers cannot change larger denomination notes. In this way it helps them and protects you. Despite our problems we had a wonderful time in Hanoi, and our trip to Halong Bay was unforgettable. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Vietnam, and most likely would like to go back and visit the places we missed.
“Hanoi Paradise Hotel 2”
The room was comfortable with a computer (free internet), bottled water was complementary and fresh fruit delivered every day. The neighborhood was somewhat crowded and noisy but the room was quiet. The air conditioner stopped one evening but was fixed the next day. The breakfasts were fine if not fancy or elaborate. The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help. Their English was usually adequate to answer any questions or help with booking tours, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good place to stay a reasonable price.
“Good quality, centrally located hotel.”
Travelling round Hanoi old quarter is best done on foot and this hotel is ideally situated with the night market just 100m away and the centre with its green lake within easy walking distance - the tiny indoor pool was also nice to return to at the end of the day. The hotel is well furnished and well designed long narrow building (like all the buildings there) the staff are very helpful and provided a free bowl of fruit every day. Best tip, take a printed map with you before you go, getting lost is very easy.
“Change the location of the swimming pool, its an indoor pool need to be outside”
The hotel rooms are classic old fashioned. Our room was really big, beds were comfy, air conditioning worked, we had a DVD player we got a free bottle of wine the first day and fresh fruit and a free bottle of water each every day. The only complaint is the pool is on the lower floor and is indoors so you cant lie around the pool after swimming. Other than that everything was great. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order.
“Very good value for money!”
A nice hotel in the old quarter, extremely friendly and helpful staff
“A great fine in Hanoi's Old Quarter”
A really nice mid-sized hotel which offerred great value. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The free use of a computer in the room made life a lot easier, and the indoor pool was a welcome stop at the end of the day after the heat and humidity of Hanoi. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel made arrangements for the Water Puppet Theatre and an overnight trip to Ha Long Bay. Both recommendations were a highlight of our trip. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.
“Exceptional Value”
The Hanoi Paradise Hotel represents exceptional value for money. It is located right in the centre of the Old City action and is only a very short walk to the market, city gate and backpacker's/travel agent area. It is only a slightly longer walk to the lake. The rooms are well sized and nicely furnished. They include all facilities including free Wi-fi, room safe, fridge, bathroom and good Air Con Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast (included in the modest price) is well prepared and excellent quality. No it isn't the Hilton but for a very moderate tarif you get a very good package Recommend this to any one on a budget but still wanting some comforts. Also used additional services provided through Hotel money changing - very competitive rates in house massage - excellent tour booked through hotel to Hao Long Baywas OK but less than expexted (vehicle, transitions) Ha Long Bay boat component good
“Lovely staff”
Most welcoming hotel we have stopped in, the staff are superb and go out of their way to help, foor example insisting on lending umbrellas and telling us to go to flower market, little things that make you feel welcome.
