“Ok Not bad”

The hotel apartments themselves were fine. They have everything you need for a few nights stay. They are about 20 to 25 minutes drive from Canberra city centre, so if you have a car that's not a problem. Didn't try the public transport into Canberra so can't comment, The only problem I had with our room and this may extended to a few of the rooms either side of ours, is that it was right above a McDonalds Drive In and we could hear EVERY car that came in, every time the chirpy McDonalds employee asked if they could take their order and what everyone ordered, Considering this usually started up by around 6am and went on till at least 11pm it (i.e when you're trying to sleep) it got pretty tedious.... the hotel owners would do well to invest in double glazing on that side of the hotel perhaps!!!?? The rest of the surroundings had a wealth of eatieries (eat in or take away) so you'll certainly not be stuck for anything to eat and there is a shopping centre nearby too, so for location you're not stuck in the middle of nowhere, with no amenities close at hand.. As I say our main gripe was the noise from the McDonalds drive through and for THAT reason, I think this hotel is over priced... had we not had that excessive noise, then I would have considered it to be value for money. They might want to consider a price reduction for the rooms affected by this noise and at the very least advise would be customers of it when they are booking, if these are the only rooms left.
