“Good value for Money”

Friendly staff, newly done up rooms and the "real" Indian food served in Bukhara - not the strange "curries" which is foreign to any Indian that is served in most of the so called Indian Restaurants! Would have appreciated more if the breakfast was included in the room rate as one did not get value in the last meal that you have taken before checking out!

“A clean, quiet, stylish place to stay”

This clean, modern hotel was apleasure to stay in. The staff were helpful, cheerful and polite. The room was comfortable and very clean. The shower was excellent, with great pressure. And you get Scottish Fine Soaps products to keep you clean! The locations is great, and the bar is lovely. The only downside was a slamming corridor door outside my room, but that is a small complaint. Everything else was great. A real find.

“Great Hotel for Everyone”

I was staying on business and needed a comfortable and clean base in Glasgow. the hotel was every bit as good as I expected it to be. The meals were excellent and the staff were helpful at all times. I will certainly be staying again and would reccomend the hotel to my colleagues and friends.

“Great hotel off the beaten track”

Great hotel except it should stock blankets as well as duvets. We cannot sleep under duvets. One other thing: the breakfast is terrible. This is the only complaint. It is a bit out of the way, but once you learn the buses and realize the taxi isn't that expensive, the distance matters little. Don't walk around too much at night, especially on Argyle St. Otherwise, great stay.

“Good for Business”

Stayed on business again and used the hotel facilities to conduct interviews. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and appeared well run. I would definitely use it again

“Worth going back to - affordable and nicely decorated.”

Hotel had been recently refurbished so the inside is nice and newly decorated. They have a nice lobby/bar area. Breakfast (continental) was good but a little expensive. It was disappointing as we had put our room service menu on our door the night before and no one came to pick it up! Overall the hotel was nice and the staff were helpful and friendly.

“wasn't happy with it at all”

I stayed 6 nights at this hotel and there were many problems with it: Firstly, it took me 3 days to get connected to internet due to various missing or unfunctional cable situations. Secondly, the shower drainage was clogged and water overflew. Each time I complained, they said oh our housekeeper will check it or has checked it, at the end of 3 days I said I want to get out if they won't change my room or get a real plumber and fix it. It was fixed that day finally! Thirdly, this is a well covered hotel. It seems pretty nice at the lobby and in the pictures but the renovations done on it are very superficial. The furniture was old in the room and the dirty ugly stained brown carpet didn't make it any better. At the checkout I was billed extra for some food and drinks that I had not bought! At least they agreed to cancel it. Also, there is no fridge or minibar in the room. The only good thing about it was the restaurant under the hotel, Bukhara. Really a good Indian restaurant. The hotel management and reception personel just weren't competent with their jobs.
