"Chose this hotel based on Expedia reviews. I was very surprised. It would appear to be an older Hotel that has been completely renovated and remodeled. Our room was freshly painted. The bathroom was spotless with what appeared to be all new fixtures. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the sheets were clean and new. Breakfast was very limited. That would be my only less than excellent comment. It was limited to toast, bagels, and cereal. But, at the low price we paid for a room here, I was fine with that. Hotel was just off the interstate and close to shopping and dining options. The gym was reasonably equipped and equipment was definitely functional and in good working order. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The room we stayed in (712) on June 1, 2026 did not have A/C but rather just a fan blowing warm air. The bathroom fan did not work either so my wife was getting ready in basically a sauna. The topper was that the toilet was plugged from the previous guests. I've been a CanadInns customer many times when my kids were younger but this was a real disappointment."

"Check in was a little less then desirable. No one to be found when we got there and no bell or anything to notify staff someone showed up. Once staff got there all was good. Hotel is nice. It was quite, beds were comfortable "

"We were greeted by the front desk person once in the four days we spent there. That was on the morning of the 9th of June as we were checking out. The gentleman at the desk actually spoke to us before we said anything. We were on the third floor, which was fine except the fact that we were in the mix of refurbishing. The hallways were typically filled with construction and cleaning items. The fridge in our room didn’t work and it took over 10. hours for them to get the situation resolved. The fan in the bathroom was loud enough that you could hear it running out in the hallway. Swimming pool was nice and we enjoyed that. Probably will not be our choice of hotels on our next visit to Grand Forks"
