We were pretty disappointed in our stay at Hotel Flora. The shower doesn’t have an actual curtain on it, so there’s no privacy in the bathroom. The hallways and common areas have lots of very uneven surfaces, so if you have any issues with mobility I would definitely not recommend this hotel. In addition, the hallways and other common areas were a little gross. Not clean, the paint was strange and looked unfinished. Wouldn’t recommend this spot.

Hotel overall great! Parking to front of hotel which you need to pay for. Boutique hotel. They have steam irons!! 😃 Might need a more European menu to cater for business travellers who just want a burger. Great breakfast!

The hotel had lots of character and some luxury perks including a heated bathroom floor. The location was excellent-- there were many cafes, restaurants and a beautiful park and canal nearby. My room was very quiet.

We found this gem of a hotel online and when we arrived it was even better. Great location, spacious room with lovely decor, staff were very helpful and accomodating, breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we have seen in our view of the world. It made our time in Gothenburg so much better.

We had a rather small room in the eaves of the roof, with just about a view over the city. If we had been staying for more than 1 night, we would have been disappointed by the size. The hotel is very central and convenient, with tram stops nearby. The breakfast was good.

3 night stay
Friendly welcome and a quick check in set the tone for our stay. Nice room (216) which was facing onto a side street. Clean and comfortable and quiet at night. The windows provide excellent sound proofing but tbh it was not needed. Breakfast was nice with the usual selection of hot and cold food. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Flora was one of my favourite places to stay. The staff were young, helpful, caring and enthusiastic. The place was an absolute pleasure and I would recommend it strongly to anyone staying in Gothenburg, so bypass the websites and contact them directly in order to secure a room!

Zander is a very nice hotel with a bar, good breakfast and quiet rooms. Location is across from rail station and near centrum. The only recommendation I would make is to ease up on the glum-glam decor. It's a dark hotel throughout, even has tinted gray windows. Turn up some lights and bring the outside in as much as possible.

We stayed at the end of April over the weekend (Fri-Sun). Overall was a great experience. We arrived earlier than the 4pm check in and could get access to the room. We booked a M - medium sized room, very spacious for the two of us. Very comfortable bed. The air-conditioning/ventilation did give off a very odd buzzing sound that was slightly annoying. Also, a few unslightly stains on the bottoms of the curtains in the bedroom. Very nice bathroom with a rainfall shower. Slightly odd choice of a full length window into the shower from the bedroom area (but there is a curtain available that can be drawn across) Breakfast selection was great, although no "filmjölk" was a dissapointment for my partner. All-in-all a great experience, a few minor issues. Definitely would return.
