“Great place to stay for the cost!”

Cute little place over looking Goreme. Big room, hotel built into caves and rock hillside. Great simple breakfast. The place is family run by a young couple. Very nice and accommodating. Fantastic price for what you get! They are not trying to sell you anything. In fact, they were very helpful in showing us maps and hikes in the area to occupy us for the whole first day. They arranged our hot air balloon ride at a much better price than if you book directly with a company.

“Pick another hotel in Goreme, there are many!”

Damp and dingy, with a strong smell of odd chlorine mixed with ammonia. Black mold on the ceilings in the bathroom. The furniture looks like scraps dragged in from the curb, the bed is a mattress tossed on the floor. Flourescent lights hanging bare from the fixtures, tepid water that dribbles from the faucet. This hotel is a step up from a hostel, barely. And they don't take Credit Card for payment, cash only. There are many hotels in Goreme, I'd pick another one.
