“Surprising Luxury”

The girl who checked me in was in the middle of her first day. She didn't get my keys magnetized right but the housekeeping lady I ran into by the elevator open my door for me. And I was surprised by how nice the room was for the low rate I found it for! The bed was comfortable and had plenty of nice pillows! I wasn't excited about how far away the hotel was from Black Hawk but they run shuttles every half and hour, so no problem. I will totally stay there again!

“Great Experience”

Although we travel to this area quite a bit, this was our first stay at the Fortune Valley Hotel in Central City. We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The gaming and food at this hotel and nearby were excellent. This hotel is in Central City and the other major casinos are in the neighboring town of Blackhawk and at first this seemed to be a drawback. After we got in town and started walking around, we found it to be a very pleasant experience. We had a blast. We will stay here again.

“Bigger than expected”

I was expecting your standard room with space for 2 queens and no more. Our room had an entire sitting area for 6 people, with a pull-out couch! The casino is right downstairs, and there's a free bus just outside to take you to Blackhawk.

“fortune valley”

I can say nothing bad about this hotel for the most part, clean most of the staff friendly and great time overall. I do have to say that the food service staff and whole experience was very lacking. I was given grief about ordering a pizza and actually picking it up a few minutes late, eating breakfast at 11 almost refused, apparently the supervisor would rather have people go somewhere else than stay and eat at this hotel. I was told several times that the supervisor is riding butts and they have to close early, cannot serve a side dish to a paying customer who does not want to eat the meat entree and breakfast has to be pulled at 11 with people in line. If I go somewhere else it would be for this reason.

Expensive for a room but we had fun anyhow. Very basic but clean.

“Cool little casino”

This was a cool little casino just minutes from the big casino. The biggest drawbacks to this hotel were lack of a real bar and limited restaurant food. They are going through a management change so perhaps these items will improve. They also need to upgrade the TV's - time for flat screens in the rooms! Other than that, the rooms were nice and comfortable.

Service was good,room was clean. Just what I wanted.
