“Great Hotel, great location - pefect stay! reccommend it 100%!”
The hotel is in a pefect location, just a few steps from a great beach. Staff is really helpful and all the waitresses at the restaurant are very friendly and always with a smile. Great choice of food every evening. Rooms are spacious, luminous and very comfortable. Hotel is great for families but also for couples. We had a great holiday and would reccomend this hotel 100%!
“Superb Hotel - High 4 Star Standard”
Excellent hotel with high standards of cusotmer service. Our first experience of buffet-style dining, so we were a little apprehensive, but the excellent quality and varied choice of dishes was an unexpected treat. Staff were extremely courteous, friendly and efficient.
“Will certainly go back”
Staff at this hotel were very helpfull and freindly, the room was spotless, the general appearance of the hotel was well maintained. The buffett style restuarant had a good variation of food to satisfy all tastes, the food quality was good and as much as you wanted. The pool area was clean with plenty of sunloungers available, clean towels for use around the poolside were available on a daily basis. The hotel location was in a quiet residential area off the main high street.
“will stay again”
Spotless, bathroom a little dated but very clean. Paid extra for half board, well worth it, evening buffet had excelent choise and we ate in every night. Nice pool area and a bit of evening entertainment if you want it. Would strongly recommend. Would recommend you book transfer online from airport to hotel as taxi your looking at nearly £50.00 each way.
“Great hotel”
Barcelo Corralejo Bay is a great hotel in a great location. The hotel is lovely; it's clean, spacious and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are great and there is a lot to choose from to ensure that there's something for you, whatever you like. There has been mention of the building works lately but in the week that we were there,sat by the pool every day, we weren't bothered at all and in fact I only recall hearing noise on one occasion for about 2 minutes. It also looks like it will be very impressive when finished. The hotel is ideally located right in the centre of Corralejo and only a very short walk from most of the restaurants and bars. We've been to Corralejo a few times and I'd recommend the Little Italy and Jaipur restaurants on the same road as the hotel, and the Poco Loco steak house just a little further down the main street. My only slight disappointment was the fact that you were only able to change the pool towels once per week.
“Nice stay”
Hotel is ideally situated. Room was large enough for the 3 of us. Bathroom was excellent. Once we had found out how to use the air con - no problems after that. The only small point and I know you don't go away on holiday to watch tv - but with such a large hotel brand you would think that they would provide a few more english channels (seeing SKY Sports News and Disney Channel everyday got a bit boring). Staff were very helpful as were the entertainment staff. No problems with getting a sun bed each day and the pool never really got busy. You never had to queue for breakfast or dinner, the food was fine but it got a bit repetitive. Buy your own tea bags if you want a good cuppa. The layout of the hotel is outstanding and there was never any noise at night.
“Nice location”
Good hotel in a nice location. Worth upgrading to a sea view room. Food good and a good selection but not very varied. Beds are quite hard and we found a little uncomfortable. Watch out for 'mossies' quite a few about. No atmosphere in bar area but seperate area for entertainment. Nice pool area.
“Suggest bed & breakfast basis”
This hotel was lovely and clean and our room was great. The half bottle of wine which greeted us on arrival was a nice touch. Breakfast everyday was good, food always hot and plenty of choice. Evening meals were very repetitive and quite bland on occasion. I eat only chicken, vegetables and fish and although there were plenty of fish dishes, the apparent vegetarian dishes often contained meat and very few chicken meals were available during our ten night stay. The pizza's were always cold and the pasta was bland. However, we were within walking distance of two decent indian restaurants. Other people have complained about the price of drinks, but we felt that on the whole they were comparible with those in the town.The entertainment in the hotel didn't really start until 10pm by which time we had often walked down the town to experience the local nightlife of live music in the many bars which was excellent. We're not party goers preferring to be back in our room by midnight latest so for us the hotel entertainmane was too late. Other than this the staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us, the pools were clean and we would go again but on a bed & breakfast basis only.
“Much as expected”
As with other reviews on this hotel we found: The location was quite convenient to the main shopping/pubs in Corralejo and first impressions were quite good. Food - breakfast was good with a wide selection of choices. Evening meal wasn't bad although the main meat/fish dishes were limited, more or less one choice of each per evening, Rooms - We had a corner room which was well appointed and spacious. The air conditioning was very poor and the mattresses were rock hard, very uncomfortable. On our last day we had to use the shower room and changing facilities as we had a late flight. This room was located at the back of the hotel and was labelled as the baby changing facilities. It reminded me of a shower room from a 1970's style nursing home. Surely as with other hotels a single guest room could be used as a changing/shower room? Pool - we went to the beach every day and the free bus shuttle was great. The pool area was clean and the sun beds were good although it was quite crowded and difficult to find a space in the afternoons. Entertainment - entertainment was not bad with a either a pianist or singer performing each evening in the main lounge.
