“Well done Frankfurt Sheraton”
This is a good hotel with pleasant and courteous staff. The room was very good, a good size, very clean and well equipped (tea making facilities in Germany are not always to be found so it was pleasing to get this). The gym and pool are excellent. It is somewhat out of the way being to the south of the river and is located in an office block wilderness, but this is the only negative. The public transport links are good, with a tram stop outside the hotel. However if you're after the Commerzbank Arena the location is superb.
“high quality hotel”
The hotel itself is only a short journey from the airport.The rooms range from classic to executive.We had 3 classic rooms which were spacious and all on suite. Room facilities included TV,telephone,fridge,air conditioning and good storage space with trouser press. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. Room service is daily.Reception staff are helpful and speak a number of languages.There are 3 lifts.The hotel facilities include swimming pool and sauna both available from early morning till late.Food and drinks are available all day from 3 areas. Breakfast is an amazing choice of feasts.There is of course also room service. The hotel has internet access.
“Very nice hotel”
Hopefully this review gets posted instead of my previous one. I accidentally ranked it poor (1) instead of excellent (5). I should have read more carefully. Nice hotel. Nice pool area. Brand new huge fitness area with all new equipment (nice upgrade!). Beautiful room with an awesome view (I was on the 5th floor) Air conditioning in the room worked great. They even have wash cloths in your room now! Really enjoyed this hotel. Many things just newly remodeled. Very clean hotel and friendly staff. No shuttle to the airport though! They have taxis waiting outside 24 hours for 20 euros to the airport. There is a train station about a 10 minute walk away though, and that is only 2.80 euros to the airport. Location is in the middle of a business park, so if you want something to do on the weekends, you'll need to take a train somewhere else. There's really nothing around this area to do or to eat except the hotel restaurant or the next-door Japanese restaurant. But the trains are convenient and cheap.
“Sparkling clean and wonderful staff!”
We just returned from a four-day stopover in Frankfurt to break up our long trip home from visiting family in the states. Our room was on the small side by U.S standards (especially with a crib for our baby), but it was extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was excellent, and the day porter was superb. Food and drink were varied and quite good. The location is not the best for families (in the center of an office park), but we would definitely recommend the Arabella and we would stay there again.
“Slightly south of center”
The hotel is about an 18 euro taxi ride from the airport. Public transportation is a great option if you don't have too many bags. There is a tram that stop in front of the hotel that will take you to the center. Breakfast was 23 euros a person and had many options. The room was very nice and clean. We have a nice view of the equestrian center. The bed was comfortable but it would sometimes come apart since it was 2 singles placed together. The lobby was nice, The elevators were quick. Taxis were readily available. I would recommend this hotel.
“A Credit to Frankfurt”
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Frankfurt, and a big part was due to the Sheraton Congress Hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The Hotel isn't the most central and it isn't the cheapest, but i'm a firm believer in paying a bit extra and getting a wee bit of luxury. This hotel was just that. Sports on TV in the bar, Complimentary Internet in the lounge, 24hr Swimming pool/sauna/gym, Nice restaurant, 24-hr room service menu and a good hearty German Breakfast with delights such as Smoked Salmon and local cheeses on the buffet. Alfons and Benjamin on reception were very helpful and Benjamins pub recommendations were top notch, and the lovely Katharina in Room service was friendly and chatty and informative about what the hotel and Frankfurt has to offer. They are a credit to the hotel and to Frankfurt, and the Manager must be very proud of them. Only wee fault i could find was the pool was a bit cold during the stay, but maybe thats how Germans like to swim. But apart from that 10/10 A+
“Interesting stay!”
Good hotel though expensive in every sorts. 6 Euros for bottled water even if you are a gold member on starwoods and if one goes to reception, its free! Very funny..
“A good value hotel”
This is a large business orientated hotel and I can recommend it to anyone visiting Frankfurt. It is a little way out of the centre but well connected in terms of public transport and taxis are always available outside the hotel (about 18 euros to the Messe). The room was large and comfortable, but lacked tea/coffee making facilities. The heating was hard to regulate so that even in minus 10 weather we had to leave the balcony door slightly ajar. We ate there one evening and the food was ok, large portions of simple German style dishes, but relatively expensive. Service in the restaurant was excellent. Eating options within walking distance are extremely limited, as Niederrad is mainly an office area with little to recommend it. Overall a good value hotel which gets most things right.
“No problems at the Sheraton”
Comfortable and clean, no problems when checking in or out. Bit surprised not to be able to get a WiFi connection in the room - it may well be available elsewhere in the hotel but I didn't follow it up.
“Nice hotel, no airport shuttle.”
The description leads you to believe that the hotel is close to the airport. Most hotels close to the airport have a free shuttle, however there was no shuttle. It cost 20 euro to take a cab to the airport. Breakfast was way overpriced 24 euro each person. Very nice hotel, however the lack of shuttle made it an inconvenient option.
