“convenient location”
This hotel is located across the street from the main train station in Frankfurt. A good place to stay when passing through. It is clean, not a tourist neighborhood. About a half hour or more walk to downtown.
“Met expectations”
Close to the main train station and easy walking distance to the main part of town. That means, of course, noise. Like nearly all hotels in Europe, there was no A/C and keeping the windows open means more noise and light, but this hotel had roll down security shades, which helped a lot. Internet and breakfast are pricey extras, again, expected, but there are lots of alternatives around, including the train station.
“Excellent Hotel in Frankfort”
Clean, confortable, friendly, nice facility and free breakfast with good price. Very close to train station. I strongly recommend.
“Great!”
Stayed in this hotel for the weekend. Very pleasant staff, clean room, excellent location for the underground and main train station. Centre of town just a ten minute walk away. Impressed!
“Great Location and Amenities”
Situated in close walk to the Train station and adjacent to a large flashy hotel, this little hotel did just great. The front door had a great presentation and the people are very very friendly. Bathrooms were very nice! Breakfast is complete and again the wait staff very cordial. Did not have dinner there but they do have a piano in the dining room!
“Top hotel , reasonable price”
This is a fantastic hotel located in the heart of Frankfurt , cross street from main train station , next to the red light district , few blocks from main river , you name it ... is right there by your hotel .
“Great Hotel in Frankfurt”
If you want a great hotel right in the heart of Frankfurt, the Savoy is for you. It is immediately across the street from the main train station (Hauptbanhof), which is what you need to take from the airport to get into the city, the rooms were gorgeous, noise level next to nothing, shades over the windows to make the room pitch black, great bar and, most importantly, a staff that was there for everything. Even our lost remote! It's about a 5 minute walk from the river Main and about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the main city center with great restaurants, churches, pubs, shops, the Goethe House, etc. I would easily stay again. Great hotel!
“Taffy”
The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel was very pleasant, and out room was very comfortable. Although we were overlooking the main road, we had no problem with the noise of the traffic. I thought it was very good value for money. We would not mind going back.

We were very pleased with the Savoy. Rooms were small, but very clean. Hotel was quiet and in a great location.
“Perfect place to stay on a budget”
Very good hotel situated opposite the central station. Even though it's central, all the decent bars & sights are elsewhere, so you will need to take the underground or cab - usually i'd say the former, but the distances aren't too bad & it usually totals around 12 euros to reach the scenic areas like Stachsenhausen (where there's loads of bars too!). The hotel was great and the staff were brilliant, but, the design of our room was disappointing. My friend's bed was stuck behind a wall with no view of the t.v and the shutter over his window wouldn't raise. Not great. Nevertheless, a decent hotel, perfect for a w/end getaway.
