“friendly people and well maintained resort”

During my stay i found the people were absoulty lovely and helpful. this was my second stay here and i would go back again. it was very clean, great service and relaxed atmosphere. food a little over priced but expected for a 5 star resort i guess. a great place if you just want to chill and meet people.

“A fantastic place for families!!!!!”

A top notch hotel with wonderful and friendly staff, beautiful rooms, gorgeous grounds, a huge swimming pool, a great Kids Club and lots of fun activities. We had a wonderful time and we would go back in a heartbeat. The only thing that we weren't that crazy about was the buffet - the food was just average for the most part (although there was lots of it) and it was a little expensive...but I suppose that is expected of a buffet. The music and entertainment and other restaurants (3 others) were all fantastic. The spa was also very nice and a great escape. The staff could not have been nicer. We loved that the Kids Club and all kids meals were free...this was very, very nice!

“An exceptional place to stay”

Very good location, except beach - the waters are shallow because of the riff. Closest beach for swimming - 4 km along a road to Suva. The spa is situated on thill with stunnig view of sunset. They could use the rest of the land of the hill for more bures. Hotel has a helipad, an adjacent ecopark with large collection of birds and reptiles to see. Probably the best service on Viti Levu. Food is ok as for former british protectorate (: VL

“Very nice resort”

Everyone was pleasant, the food was good. We weren't very demanding guests, just looking for a place to relax a few days. Nobody made any mistakes.

“Super Holiday”

We have just returned from a super holiday at the Outrigger. Everything about this resort is fantastic! The setting is amazing with wonderful gardens and the pool area is perfect with plenty of seating and shade when needed. The staff are all so friendly and willing to help with any query. We loved it! The restaurants are quite expensive but not more than one would expect from a 5 star resort; we actually went out to another hotel a short walk away for a couple of meals which we also enjoyed.

“Excellent”

An excellent resort with lush, tropical, typically Fijian landscaping. All staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. There are many comments of the restaurants being expesive but not excessively so, but two inexpensive excellent cafes nearby. Excellent activities and entertainment. Unfortunately, due to many young families, pool area very noisy and crowded, not ideal for a quiet holiday as no quiet spots to relax.

“Excellent resort--would go back again in a heartbeat.”

An excellent self-contained resort in which all services were truly five star. Great and varied menues in the restuarants and snack areas. Excellent selection of wines and superiior dishes in the Ivi Restuarant, which is a top grade fine dining restuarant. Plenty of good value local crafts on offer throughout the resort. We stayed in a standard "superior room" rather than a suite or hut and found it to have everything we needed in terms of size and features, as we preferred the relative seclusion of a hotel style room rather than the huts spread throughout the complex with guests walking past the huts all of the time. The landscaping and native plants throughout the resort are spectacular and create a soothing and restfull environment. The Bebe Spa, which overlooks the resort, was also a great experience and has good value body treatments and a lot of oils and other products not found elsewhere in Fiji. All in a great place to plonk yourself down for a safe, peacefull and restfull holiday. Highly recommended place for a couples or a family holiday.

The outrigger was just fantastic. Great rooms, very clean. A fantastic resort on the beach. Really nice peple. I loved it! And would recommend everyone to go there! It was awesome.

“Will go back...!”

Fantastic rooms, excellent service, plenty of staff on hand to assist but the resort was quiet not sure if this would be the same service if the resort was busier. Food was outstanding in ALL of their restaurants. Love the buffet for the kids, plenty of choice. Themed nights, including Italian, Indian, Fijian and we had a BBQ on Australia Day!! If I had only one thing to complain about it would be the pool area was really slippy! But that's it.....!

“Amazing.”

The Outrigger Fiji is very relaxing. Clean rooms, clean surroundings, friendly staff, amazing food, no reason to not be relaxed! The room was spectacular and the complimentary sparkling in-room every evening was a present surprise. Would without doubt recommend the resort to family and friends and anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle.
