“Great views, great value”

I booked 2 rooms at the Novotel for a 2 night stay for myself and a few friends. The rooms were clean, comfortable and have wonderful views of the waterfront out to some small islands and mangroves. The hotel is great value when compared to what you get from the hotels located close to town, especially considering that taxi's in Fiji are very cheap and it costs approx $4 USD at the time of the composition of this review and take no more than 5 minutes. There are also frequent public buses if you feel like having the same experience as locals. Lami town with its simple shops and supermarkets is also a short 10 minute walkaway.

“The best Resort on Coral Coast”

If you want to visit Suva this was ideal. They were always very helpful and friendly. Great for couples like ourselves and also for the many families staying. Entertainment each night and the breakfast buff was the best we had all throughout our holidays. We rated the Lami Novotel as our best stay in Fiji

“a place worth staying”

I have stayed at this hotel 9months ago and noticed major improvements and changes to the hotel. I didn't want to stay there this time because of the room but was surprised with the refurbishment. I would now recommend this hotel to guest. Staff are friendly n pleasant n are willing to help u

“Value for Money and Great Location”

This hotel was great value for money, and the location was perfect. Out of the City. Beautiful views of the ocean. Sitting on the balcony with a beer watching the sunset over the water was great. I think the price is great for the location etc and compared to other hotels in Suva, its quiet and we rested easily after work. The aircon was the best we had experianced in Fiji - ever. Bed was upto Novotel standard. Fridge worked well, LCD T.V's. Bathroom was good, nice shower, all clean and modern. Only down side was a bit of a small coming from the bathroom 1 night, not sure if it was from the vent or what. Otherwise, all very good.

“Quality hotel, but business orintated, so not a holiday venue”

The staff where very professional and friendly thoughout. Hotel is about 10 minutes outside of Suva. A Taxi will cost $5FJD and takes only a few minutes to get to the hotel.Room was clean and well presented, if a little small. Hotel was well decorated and thoughtout. Food and drink where of decent quality and well priced. On checkout was billed for items from the minibar that I didnt use, but this was quickly sorted out. Only complaint is a lack of a beach nearby. Staff suggested a 40 minute trip to another resort, but that was still a very lack-lusture beach. However, the hotel offer a reasonable pool as long as you just want to cool down or have a splash, but not swim.

“Friendly Fiji Hotel”

We liked the location of hotel. It was close to family in Fiji. The employees were friendly and helpful. The remodeling is updating the hotel nicely.
