“Fun for families”
I stayed with my daughter for a few days on my return trip from New Zealand. We had a fabulous time. The resort staff was very friendly and remembered our names the whole time. They especially were very kind to my daughter and would call to her whenever they saw her. The lagoon does drain at low tide, but there is a small island connected to the resort by a dock that has deep water swimming. The short walk to the other side of the island has a nice reef for snorkeling and diving. We brought our own gear for snorkeling so I can't comment on the resort gear. The grounds are very nice and the cane toads and land crabs we endlessly entertaining for my daughter. The food was good in the restaurant.
“Picture Perfect.... Room was fantastic”
We booked for 3 nights and had just had 3 nights in Denarau (at the Hilton) Musket Cove was 1000% better for us. The service was amazing, the staff are really nice and helpful. Really could not ask for better service from Fiji. The room (Beach front Villa) for us was perfect, although it was warm we left the louvers open and listened to the waves... The room is a little dated in the bathroom but I would not want it updated as it would lose the charm. I walked out of that room and straight into the water everymorning. It really was a picture perfect view. It was on the quiet side for the hotel being out of season but I loved this. We met Joe the manager the first night (Monday at the free drinks) and every morning while walking around the beach or to the pool or at breakfast I would hear him call my name and say Bulla, it was a personal touch and all the staff were the same. I have told all my friends about this place. Take a walk over to the other 2 resorts for dinner options, although Musket Cove has really nice food their are choices for other restaurants. We Kayaked around the island (Not the big Island) and loved it. Took 2 hours as we stopped and took photo's and just watched the fish jump out of the water (it's a little dirty on the other side but worth it). Also go on the snorkling trips, they are amazing also.
