“Koro Sun”
Koro Sun was a nice resort and was very welcoming. Kind of like summer camp with daily activities. The activities were fun and we enjoyed some "jungle golf" on their rather rough but interesting course. The staff was great and accomodations nice. We stayed at the resort for only a couple of days prior to boarding a live aboard boat but I left wishing that we had a few more days to spend there.
“Would love to go back!”
We had no idea what to expect and were so amazed at how wonderful everything was: the staff, the food, the accommodations. We enjoyed everything that the Koro Sun had to offer. The day trips were great; everything thought out. The dining room was beautiful and the food not only delicous but presented beautifully. We enjoyed making friends w/many of the staff and apprecited everyone's attention and concern. Since our daughter, in the Peace Corps, was joining us on and off during our stay, we greatly appreciated the staff extending hospitality to her as well. Just can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff and their attention to our well-being. The only suggestion we have is that the bure we stayed in needed more storage space for clothing/luggage (perhaps a dresser?), better/brighter lighting, and perhaps another comfortable chair to sit in. Otherwise, we loved the patios in front and back, the location & the scenery/grounds that surrounded our bure!
“Lots of Fun”
Great relaxing time. Room was great. Food was brekky of fruit and a main and three course lunch and dinner. Two choices for each lunch and dinner picked the day before. Was great quality and very tasty. Most meals were very impressive with some being high end restaurant quality. We really enjoyed the dining experience. My girlfriend did the Banana leaf wrap special at the spa and loved it. Plenty of activities with snorkeling and kayaking readily available. The snorkeling in the immediate area is good but not amazing. There are a number of little islands which were fun to kayak to and relax on your own. They don't have a real beach but do provide chairs and two swinging bed lounges down by their man made 'beach'. They put on a fire show which was quite impressive one night. On another night they also got the staff and their families together for a display of some of their local dances and songs. Was great to watch and left me wishing I had something like that in my culture. Their kids were really getting into it They need to be careful with their promises. They talk up things such a bike rides, walks, etc. but then don't really deliver. This could lead some guests feeling disappointed. Tend to overplay their hand a bit. Also the staff are often on 'Fiji time' and things can take time to happen. If you can look past that and take it for what it is you will have an amazing time there and leave feeling relaxed and stress free. We loved it there and didn't want to leave
