“Surely St Andrews' Finest”

The Fairmont St Andrews proved to be a truly 5 star experience with an attentive and dedicated staff who made our short stay very memorable. Although the hotel is still undergoing a degree of refurbishment we found the accommodation to be of an extremely high standard, matched only by the superb location on the Fife coastline.

“A Perfect Place to Enjoy St Andrews”

This hotel sets just outside of the village of St Andrews alongside the Castle Course with a spectacular view of the coastline. You are welcomed by its architecture and ambience and immediately know your about to experience one of Fairmont's premier properties. The staff is extremely cordial and helpful with a quickness to facilitate any request you have to help your stay be a delight. The rooms were well appointed and the bathroom in the standard rooms is larger than some hotel rooms i have been in in London with a full bath with separate shower! The complimentary shuttle will have you in the midst of the village or in front of the British Golf Museum within a 15 minute travel time with faithfulness to the return schedule being just as punctual. The included breakfast was a buffet with cooked to order eggs and omelets with a wonderful selection to fit any palate. You will not want to miss this oasis in the Scottish coast side or the many wonderful people you will meet in the township.

The purpose of our visit to the hotel was a quiet relaxing weekend away and the hotel exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived staff were extremely helpful and friendly and more than happy to accomodate any request! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will visit again.

From the minute we drove up to the entrance to the hotel we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The concierge guys were extremely helpful and friendly and that followed right the way through the staff. An added extra was the transport service into St Andrews (only 5 - 10 mins away) when ever you wanted it as parking is difficult. We will definately be going back soon.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Wherever we wished to visit in the the surrounding area we were transported by the hotel. We were tampered the whole time we were there and the service was constantly great. The staff were helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to going back and would recommend The Fairmont to anyone.

“The best place to stay in St. Andrews”

Everything was wonderful. We didn't come to golf--we came to drop our son off at the university (we're from California). The bus drivers who took us back and forth from town was very accommodating. The room and bathroom were very clean and nice. We had the best fish and chips we've ever had in one of the upstairs restaurants. The Fairmont was recommended to us by my sister-in-law, as this is the only place she will stay whenever she travels to St. Andrews. She likes to stay at only the best! It's lovely to walk around the grounds.
