“This hotel would be my first choice.”

I was very glad this Hotel was super clean as well as the room plus it was confortable. In the morning they have donuts, fresh coffee and bagels for free. We found some close restaurants and a Walmart. I'd come back again any time.

“Close to EIU”

I would highly recommend staying here if you are traveling back and forth the EIU. It's much better than the options closer to campus.

“Just Fine”

Great for a short stay - nothing fantastic but not bad at all. Very close to restaurants and just a few minutes from Cross County Mall.

“Better Than Expected!”

The hotel was okay, plenty of clean towels, quiet, and clean. Key didn't work, they gave me another immediately. Many places to eat in walking distance. Would stay there again for the price.

“Not up to standards”

We had limited choices do to hotels being booked so we decided on this Super 8, usually I dont stay at Super 8's because they are not up to my satisfaction. This Super 8 was no different, not the most comfortable or clean. The room had a funky smell when we walked in and very few amenities. I opened the curtains and there were spider webs in both windows. The room just didnt feel clean. The location was the only think really going for it. It is close to shopping, food & gas. We never did get to have the breakfast that was offered because it was cleaned up & put away by 9:00am, most hotels take their time putting things away so you can still get something well after the closing but even 15 min later it was all closed down. Probably would stay somewhere else.

“not the right hotel”

I have an important meeting at Eastern Illinois University and this hotel located within 10 min. driving. That was nice! Usually I stay at least three or three and half stars rated hotel. But, this time I reserved too lately and there was no other option. The room was so so clean but the condition of the room was not good. Bath was colored, noisy and old air conditioning, old bed sheet..etc and the staff at the counter wasn't even smiling. Frown face staff asked me at the first "What?" I would recommend to others to book other hotel in advance

“Not bad for the price”

Hotel wasn't bad for the price. The room was mostly clean but it had a bit of an aged smell. The breakfast bar in the morning was weak.

“Disappointed”

T.V/cable reception was horrible. Complained to the desk manager, he said all the t.v.'s were bad in the whole hotel. The breakfast room was unorganized and small. One of the three rooms I reserved had hair in the bathtub and in the sink. I will never choose this hotel for an over night stay again. Friends of ours checked out of this hotel and booked another room in another hotel because their request for a non-smoking room was not granted.
