“Clean room, friendly staff - would definitely stay again!”
Front desk staff was very helpful w/directions. Continental breakfast was small but fresh. Room was clean & bed was comfy.

One of the better hotels to stay at when visiting Eastern Illinois University in Charelston.
“great place to stay for parents weekend at Eastern University”
Loved it! It was so nice and clean and the fact it had an indoor pool to keep my 12 year old son busy was fantastic. We were there for parents weekend at Eastern Ill. University and will book in advance when we know we need to come and see our daughter.

The Baymont of Mattoon was a fabulous hotel that I will stay in again. The rooms were spotless, the management and staff friendly and very professional, One of the finest stays I have ever had, and I have traveled the nation from coast to coast.

Not much to say,but a great place to stay!It was close to a great restaurant called Cody's and near a super Walmart.Bein 200 miles away from home you like to have the basics close at hand.Great place to stay.We will be back next year.

I *LOVED* this place. Very clean, comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. On the second day, I had a phone call asking if i was satisfied and if there were any problems that they needed to address. I can't say enough things about the place.

I thought this was a nice new hotel. It isn't so it was overpriced for the condition. Very noisy neighbors on all sides.

we needed a place to stop halfway through our trip. this hotel served that purpose well....however, i wouldn't necessarily choose it for a "vacation" stop.
