"I opted for the bed & breakfast package which was totally worth it. Although the rooms were small, they were clean and had ample space for 2 adults. Amenities were good - hot chocolate, tea with milk, and sugar were a nice touch. The breakfast in the dining room was lovely. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the town center but it is a nice walk to pier -along the boardwalk."

"Old fashioned Grand hotel with old fashioned excellent service. A porter greeted us, found a parking space and swept our bags away to our room. Reception courteous and helpful. Nothing too much trouble for dining room staff. Garden Restaurant food quality excellent"

"The stay was good. Great location within 1 street of the seafront. Roughly 15min to the pier. The host Kevin is very accommodating and polite. The cooked breakfast was very tasty. I appreciate it's a B&B but it could do with a little modernising. The parking is not very good. Even though it's free parking in the surrounding roads, it was a struggle to get a space."

"On arrival I was given a room but there was no heating so it was very cold. The Manger happily moved me to another room with a heater in which was better. The room itself was clean and in good condition with plenty of tea/coffee. The mattress though was very hard, not comfortable at all and quite crunchy. The noise from outside was easily heard (which can't be helped I imagine) but still was a loud room to have. The staff were helpful and all in all for the price I paid I can't really...
