“very nice hotel but one needs a car”
We had a rental car with a navigation system and it made the 15 minute transportation to the city or airport easy. It did not appear to be close to public transportation. This can be corrected by someone else with knowledge. The weekend we were there the central air conditioning in all the rooms was down. They gave us two fans and I assume it was a temporary item. The staff did their best to help with the situation.Otherwise the room was fine, clean, good bed and with the usual hotel services. The price was right for a 4 star hotel. the gym and sauna were nice, parking was plentiful(free), free internet and a large breakfast buffet with eggs to order for a fee. With a car I would stay again and recommend to all.
“Modern, efficient and good value.”
The Hotel is modern and very efficient. Very quite and the rooms are well equipped. The food in the Restaurant is also very nice and reasonable in price. The distance from the Airport to the Hotel is about 10 minutes by taxi and cost around EU15. A very recommendable Hotel.
“The hotel was good.”
I requested a non-smoking room. The room was clean but smelled of smoke. The hotel es very close to Dusseldorf Airport, can be reached by bus or taxi.
“Good if the price is in line”
Have stayed at this Hotel in the past and it is very suitable for overnights. Would not be ideal if you had to spend much time in the room for business. Slept well and Internet was free with cable which was provided by the Hotel. Wi-Fi was available from a hot spot provider with cost. Ample free parking was a plus for me as I had experienced fees of up to 12 Euros ($17 US) at other Hotels. Was unhappy last year when I was looking to extend my stay but because of an upcoming Medical convention they wanted 3 times the rate. Mike
“Review”
Hotel is very clean, staff very helpful, very pleased with the hotel. One thing to take note of, this hotel is ideal if you travel here by car, otherwise its a good 30 min walk to the nearest train station. A bus / train option is also possible to get to Dusseldorf.
“Nice Hotel”
Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. Nice restaurant with attentive friendly service. Not really an "airport" hotel. Cab rides of 15 minutes each way added to the room cost. It really is a nice friendly hotel. Remote location so there is nothing of interest within walking distance.
“Comfortable and modern stay in Dusseldorf”
Comfortable and nice Hotel in Dusseldorf area, close to the Airport. Clean and modern. Not too easy public transportation to Dusseldorf Downtown. We rocommend to take a Taxi everywhere, fast, reliable and correct billing.
“It could have been great”
Price was GREAT for a 4-star hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and elegant, comfortable. Only problem was that the hotel restaurant was closed due to a holiday (some obscure German holiday only Germans celebrate), and there were no restaurants nearby - other than MacDonald's and Burger King a half mile away. No coffee available in the room for early morning, but I requested and they proviided it for no extra charge. Requested a wake up call but it never came.
“Too Far Out for Tourists”
The Hotel was clean and the room was well equipped (with a free mini bar restocked each day). The staff were fantastic and could not do enough to help (with great English spoken). The BIG downside to this hotel was its location. Although it states "Dusseldorf Airport" this hotel was not officially in Dusseldorf. It is based in a suburb and if you do not have a hire car it costs a lot of money in taxis or on the buses to get anywhere. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to business people, or those wishing to drive themselves, but for those who rely on public transport - stay in a hotel actually in Dusseldorf.
“4 stars hotel without breakfast included...”
The fact that a 4 (four) stars hotel do not have breakfast included is beyound any good sense expectations...
