“quite impressive; front desk staff very helpful and accommodating”
only stayed overnight on our way back to Windsor, ON but the hotel as well as the staff were quite impressive; arrived early that rooms are not ready; staff were very cordial and made us feel comfortable while waiting for our room to be ready; restaurant staff were great including the food, of course; fitness facility was very impressive; took notes to be incorporated in my future place of abode! this is a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone travelling to the part of the world!
“A Great Place to Stay”
This hotel is located just a few blocks from Ratingen Old Town and the S train line to central Dusseldorf City. The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were quite large by European standards. Off od the lobby area was a very nice lounge, and the restaurant food was excellent.
“Very good hotel within walking distance to bars, restaurants and downtown”
Very nice hotel. Perfect location for business and pleasure. Downtown area, which is a pedestrian only zone, is within walking distance (about 5-10 minutes). Free parking was available on the street for the whole stay (2 weeks) but we might just have been lucky with that. Only negative is that only deluxe rooms have aircondition.

“Without a car life is difficult..”
Transportation is a major concern without a car.. If you are to go downtown Duseldorf, Taxis are quiet costly, S-bahn train station is 2 km away, and You must take a taxi or public bus to reach Trams at Ratingen Mitte.
“Solid business hotel”
Good location close to A44 autobahn. 15 minutes Dusseldorf Altstadt and airport Undergrond parking. Good expedia rooms Breakfast as expected Would use again
“Very Quiet, Relaxing place.”
Rooms are small, clean, modern and hi-tech. Breakfast buffet was good but a bit expensive. Location is just on the edge of old town Ratingen, and a 5 minute walk from the Rail station. Everything is within walking distance.
“Good clean hotel”
Nice clean hotel. Breakfast is not cheap, quality is OK. Wireless internet is not free and not cheap. As a place to stay, it is clean and confortable. Walking distance to the Town.
“Comfortable, but not very helpful staff”
We booked this hotel as it was an inexpensive rate for the weekend, and claimed to be four-star. The amenities looked great, and it seemed like a good choice. However, in Dusseldorf, we realised the hotel wasn't in the city - and almost an hour away on the tram, in Ratingen. We were so far out, it wasn't worth the time going in to Dusseldorf and back, so we were stuck in the tiny town. The hotel was comfortable. I can't fault the room, although the decor was a little feminine, with yellow stripes. The bathroom was definitely 4-star, with a fantastic power shower. The beds were very nice, with top quality matress and duvet. However, it was listed as one of the amenities being tea and coffee maker in room. We were really looking forward to this - a cup of tea finally! Alas, no such device was to be found. And when I enquired I was told this was exclusively for the fourth floor. I asked if it was possible to get one, or get a cup of tea, and I was very rudely told no, and then the man at the desk started doing other things. Also, at check out, I simply received "Ok you are checked out" and no other communication, such as "Did you enjoy your stay". Staff were very curt, and not helpful at all. Overall, the hotel is far away, but the rooms are nice. I don't see why it is four star, really, because I have stayed in better three star hotels, and it really lacks amenities. Also, having to PAY for the the steam room and gym was another disappointment.
