“I've had better breakfasts!”
My booking was based on price rather than location. Traffic noise was a little irritating but couldn't be helped, although being woken up by the sound of the roaring lions from the local zoo was different!! Whilst the hotel itself was nice enough, the staff very pleasant & helpful, the decor was a little dated. Food wise, the buffet breakfast was tasteless and overcooked albeit well organised in terms of seating & being served with a hot drink. I was also really disappointed to not have any biscuits with the tea/coffee facilities! Which to the majority of sub-standard class hotels is standard! All in all I would definitely go back but next time use the leisure facilities and stick to cereal and toast for breakfast :)))
“Good value for money”
Everything was very good apart from the time taken to receive our dinner courses, and the dinner menu was a touch overpriced.The restaurant staff both for dinner and breakfast were helpful and friendly, as was reception also..The snacks in the Leisure cafe were very good value for money. All the staff were very professional helpful and friendly and the leisure facilities very good. Good for families to go swimming. A good value hotel. We will likely return.
“Overall Satisfied”
It was a Hotel with Difference i mean the Hotel still Using Keys instead of access cards , Leisure facilities where too crowded and can be accessed in off peak Times In over all Had a Good Experience
“Would use this place again”
Clean rooms (but towels are a bit crispy!) with a good choice of nicely cooked breakfast options. Bigger pool than I expected, which was good but it was also busier than expected as it's a "public" pool with children's swimming lessons. Very handy having a pub and Starbucks on site.
