“Good place to rest near airport”

The hotel itself is new, clean, and the rooms are well equipped. But know that you are not going to be going out anywhere around the hotel because it's in a bad neighborhood, or as our taxi driver told us "it's kind of like the wild west around here." 15 euro cab ride to the airport, takes 10-15 minutes, courtesy phone to call cabs. We used it as a place to stay before we flew out of Dublin the next day. If you want to go into Dublin and sight see this isn't the place for you.

“great location for working in Ballymun”

great service, very low price. awesome place to stay if you are working in Ballymun. not a good place to stay for Dublin sight seeing. two complaints: (1) dead light bulbs in bed side lamps (2) no lunch service

“Nice hotel, pity about the transport”

The hotel was fine, new and clean, and the staff very helpful and pleasant. BUT outside my room was a balcony, locked to me, which has been used heavily by smokers as it was well covered with cigarette butts. The window, open on my arrival, had cigarette ash on the casement which of course blew back into the room. The main problem was not the room, however, but the inaccessibility of the hotel. It is near the airport but there is no courtesy bus or direct bus route, and there seems to be a tie-up with the taxi company as my return taxi trip was 50% more than my arrival taxi.

“O where O where has the soap gone.”

I had a very pleasant stay. My only gripe was. There was no soap, shower gel, shampoo in my room. I was there for six days in total. Declan

“OK for short stay - not the best arae”

Hotel served its purpose for my visit - close to airport and M50 good price. Area is not the best, lot of street noise into the early hours as my room was located on the front side of the building. Street lights on front side of building also make these rooms very difficult to make dark at night. Room was large and clean - no saop/shower gel was provided in teh bathroom but I think this was in error and not hotel policy. Breakfast supposed ot be availble from 0700h but staff memeber was late so not available until 0730h buy which time I had to leave. Secure underground car park.

“Bad stay”

I stayed at this hotel because I had an early flight and it is suposed to be an "airport" hotel. But, in fact, this hotel is not so close to the airport. The taxi cost me 15 euros. The location is not good, far away from anything. The room is good. However, my experience at his place was terrible...I was wake up at 1am by a guy opening my door! The hotel staff made a terrible mistake and gave my room key for another person. I would never stay at this hotel again!

“Not safe and not convenient”

This hotel is not in a safe area and is a 20 euro cab ride from the airport. If you are looking for an airport hotel, try another that has a free shuttle. I recently stayed at the premier inn dublin airport and found it MUCH better and more importantly safer than the travelodge ballymun.

“"airport hotel" is a stretch”

The hotel itself and reception staff were excellent. I was extremely dissatisfied however with the location and would suggest to any prospective traveller to pay a little more and stay elsewhere. It is not particularly close to the airport and the area did not feel safe. The restaurant facilities were closed when I arrived and the fast food outlet next to the hotel was held up as I waited for food.
