“Early morning flight”
A Sunday night in November, way off season. Had dinner at the hotel, the servers really wanted to go home at 11pm! Food just ok as you might expect. Room was fine, clean but the fan didn't work in the bathroom and it got pretty steamy from the shower. Shuttle to the airport was great and timely. I would state there again for convenience but no other reason.
“Very Good Hotel”
I arrived very early, before check-in time, and was immediately given a room, which was very clean and well-equipped. The area in which the hotel is located (Roissypole) has several restaurants and even two small supermarkets (all within walking distance). I did not have any problems with the hotel "navette" (Black Bus).
“Very Convenient”
Ideal for flight connections with easy access to Airport. Walking distance without heavy luggage. Food quality in O'deas Var was excellent.
“Motel”
great location to airport and good food
“Excellent Airport Hotel”
This was a great airport hotel. The staff couldn't have been nicer to us. The bar was relaxing and the food was good too. No complaints at all.
“Good hotel if you need airport proximity”
The Radisson Blu Airport Dublin was fine for an airport-located hotel. I stayed for two nights; it was walking distance from the airport terminal so if I didn't feel like waiting for the (not-especially-polite) shuttle driver, it was no problem to walk over. From the airport, I would catch the bus into the city centre. I got a very good rate; less than half the cost of a well located Trinity College or Temple Bar hotel; (where I had stayed the earlier part of my trip). I would certainly stay there again for the night before departure, but probably not more than that. Overall, the hotel looked a little in need of a remodel. Dark, nothing special about the rooms - very different than the Radisson Blu near Christchurch Cathedral I stayed at a few years ago (which was very, very nice - highly recommend). Again, it was fine if you're looking for airport proximity and the buses into and from City Centre are cheaper and easier to navigate than ever, but wasn't a very special stay.
“Convenient, but would not go back”
This hotel was conveniently close to the airport, and we very much appreciated the free shuttle. We were very disappointed that the hotel did not have hot water for our shower in the morning. Other rooms did, but ours went cold after 5min. So we didnt have time to wait around for it to come back, and we left in the cold with my cold wet hair....b/c the blowdryer provided did not work. Receptionist did not bother to ask how our stay was when we checked out.
“Make it easy to fly out of Dublin!”
This hotel is pristine and full of a very caring and attentive staff. You can walk two blocks to the terminals from here or ride the frequent shuttle. The rooms are very quiet and clean and just a bit better than most business style hotels with more electric plugs, more work space and a better closet. The bar serves a terrific lunch and the buffet breakfast is exceptional as well. We stayed one night before an early flight and it made the trip back to the US start off very calmly and with lots of time to make it through preclearance which adds lots of procedures to to the departure process in Dublin. You really need those two hours recommended for checking in internationally here!
“Good hotel in a convenient location”
We booked the hotel mainly because it was our last night in Ireland with a flight out the next morning. So we wanted to be near the airport. The staff was very helpful and gave us good advice about bringing the rental car back the night before to save time in the morning. The room was good but was showing signs of wear throughout. The pub had good food and it was one of the few hotels we stayed at in Ireland that had wireless access in the room.
“Top Notch”
Cool
