“Good bargain hotel”
This hotel was everything we were looking for. It is conveniently located across the street from the bus station. If you are looking for central location you will pay more for the location itself. This hotel is walking distance to everything you would want to do.
“confusing hallways and elevators”
After a long fright and arriving at hotel, I had to navigate through hotel. I had to use two different elevators, and several stairs up and down? to get to my room. I was very tired and this was not a good way to end my night. The bathroom had a oder that something had not been cleaned. The resturant was ok, but it only served Itilian food? I had to go eleswhere to try a local type foods. The bar was the only good thing about this place, but it didn't serve any snack or food. I won't be staying here again.
“great hotel and location”
every thng was good, except, on the sat night the night club, had head baning music going on till after 2:30 am. we had a 40 hour flights and travling the next day which started at 5am, so we was not impressed by this, the staff did offer us another room to sleep in, but there was not much point as we was leaving so soon after.will warn others about the night club next door.
“Spoiled by maintenance issue”
When we checked in last Friday we were not warned there was no hot water in our wing of the hotel, a problem that continued to at least Monday. There was no effort to keep customers informed by notices or messages and management was MIA, leaving explanations to reception staff. There was also no offer of any compensation, such as reduced rates or food/drink vouchers. Very poor communications! On the third night we were transferred to a vey classy mini-suite which was appreciated. As other reviewers have noted, very few of the staff ever smile or engage with customers, not our normal Ireland experience. Despite double glazing in most rooms the noise from adjacent trains, buses, trams and pubs can be intrusive and persist past 3am so light sleepers beware. The location was ideal for us, close enough to most of central Dublin's attractions to walk.
“Hotel Issacs”
Extremely convenient since right across the street from main bus station. Very good service. Hotel is older property and rooms not plush conditions, but well situated several blocks from lots of pubs, restaurants, etc.
“Great for the Price”
Staff was quite friendly, great location. Would definitely stay here again
“"Close to bus station and Dublin City Centre"”
Isaacs Hotel is directly across the road from Busaras, Dublin's countrylink bus station making it easy for bus travel around the country. We initially stayed at Isaacs Hotel on arrival in Ireland, and chose to stay there again before leaving Ireland. The prices through expedia were very reasonable so paying extra for breakfast wasn't a problem. The hotel rooms were comfortable and clean and serviced every day and the staff were also helpful. There is a restuarant inside for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also a bar attached to Isaacs. Food was good. We were able to leave our bags at reception after checking out while we filled in time while waiting to go to the airport. Isaacs Hotel is in walking distance to sites of interest on both the North and South sides of Dublin City.
“Would do it again”
Hotel staff were great and very helpful. Was disappointed that we had to climb stairs after I had verified the hotel has a lift. More of a problem for my travel companion than for me. Very comfortable room.
“Very good hotel in Dublin”
Excellent customer service; very well-located. Renovated rooms are nice and confortable. Overall I had a very good experience.
“Had Great Experience!”
It was in the heart of Dublin and the people working behind the desk where very helpful even though we were delayed 2 extra days because of the volcanic ash over Ireland. They were helpful and very considerate.
