“Nice Hotel”

Hotel was very enjoyable to stay at. I stayed at two hotels in Dublin and was very happy with each. The Maldron City Centre(7 nights) and this Crowne plaza Northwoods(2 nights). The stay at the Plaza was nice as I had already done all of the sites in the center of Dublin. There is a city bus about 200 yards from the hotel front doors which takes about 15-20 minutes to get to city center and costs less than 2 euros. It was very convenient and easy to use. I recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay close to the airport or does not mind the bus trip to city center.

“Good home base in Dublin”

We wanted to stay near the airport as we would be departing for the US from the hotel at the end of our stay. This hotel had convenient hotel to airport shuttle that got us to the airport in 10-15 minutes. The other requirement was easy bus access to downtown Dublin, and the hotel was perhaps 1-2 blocks from the bus stop with great service into the city center. The hotel room itself was very nicely furnished, and the bathroom had a seperate shower and tub. All in all we were very pleased with the entire experience

“Great place to stay near the airport in Dublin.”

Clean, comfortable & good bar food. Courtesy van to the airport. I would stay here again. Beautiful park with trails across the street.

“Good overnighter hotel for early flight next day”

Did not stay in the hotel much, checked in around 7 p.m Friday evening. went back into the city till 2 a.m. next morning. Seem like a good overnighter hotel, except a guy screamed at the receptionist really loud, and he was apparently drunk at 7 p.m. Friday, so much for steorotyping.

“Very nice stay!”

Perhaps a bit too far out of Dublin. A 25-30 minute bus ride or a 12-15 minute taxi to get to the center of Dublin. Taxi fare is very expensive compared to the bus.

Area recommendations

Dublin is wonderful. Check out the streets beyond Temple Bar.

“excellent”

well appointed asian syle hotel on the park where the european cross country championships were held. staff were very accomodationg, convenient shuttle to and from airport, comfortable lounge and restaurant.

“Overnight in Crowne Plaza”

Great choice if you need to stay close to Dublin Airport. Nice, clean hotel with no "frills". I recommend paying a little more or just asking for an executive floor upgrade. You can take advantage of continental breakfast, which is much better than restaurant food:))and drinks in the afternoon. A short walk from the hotel is a bus stop that takes you to center city. Kids got a ride on a double decker without taking a tour bus. If you are looking for a clean and functional hotel, this is a good choice.
