“Clarion Hotel”

Although the hotel accommodation was satisfactory, the ability to get one's luggage from the car to the room is extremely inconvenient and will prove to be problematic for someone who can't get around easily. There are no ramps from the main parking lot and the hotel does not have a guest elevator. My wife & I had to drag our bags (we both had full-sized and carry on bags) from the car, up a moderate flight of steps to get into the hotel lobby, across the lobby, down a flight of stairs to our room level, and finally down a maze of hallways to get to our room. Not easy; not convenient. And we are both healthy adults. The above noted, the hotel will provide assistance upon request. Other notes: The room was dated, but very comfortable. The check in process was very smooth. The cost of the room is reasonable. The location in the airport compound is very convenient. Shuttle service is charged to your room in advance and the onus is on the traveler to advise if they are not taking the shuttle. The restaurant had a limited menu and expensive. Parking is an additional cost.

“Good for an early morning flight”

The staff at this hotel were friendly and very helpful, when we checked in we requested non smoking but when we got to the room it was a smoking room when I went back to reception they were very apologetic and changed us straight away, this was not a problem at all. We stayed in the hotel for dinner which again the service of the waitress in the restaurant was excellent. Clean good value for money and great location to the airport for any early morning flight on 1euro each for the shuttle bus, free wifi in foyer of the hotel a bonus.

“Good night sleep before traveling.”

My husband and I have stayed at the Clarion Dublin Airport more than a couple of times for a good night sleep and convenient location for flying out of Dublin in the early morning. Their courtesy shuttle makes pickups at the airport at regular intervals and leaves from the hotel to shuttle guests to the airport 24/7. The shuttle drivers and the front desk staff or very helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and has a dinner menu that I would rate ***. Their standard room is quite small, but if you are just staying for the reasons listed, it is definitely adequate. They offer no-smoking rooms, but the hallways are a little stinky. There were no elevators that I have ever found, but they do offer to help you to your room, up and down stairs, if you need help with your luggage. Usually a very busy lobby, but easy to find a nook for reading or enjoying time out of your room for cards or television or a nice glass of wine -- and of course plenty of ops for people watching!

“Dublin 1 & 2”

Stayed twice. First room was not as nice as the second time. However, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend the hotel.

“Just okay!”

No elevator to the ground floor, water was luke warm at best, no wash clothes, and restaurant was very expensive. For the price I got what I paid for. i have stayed in worse and better for the price I paid. The main thing it is really close to the airport! For 1 night it works!

“There is a parking charge and no elevators”

The hotel charges for parking after two hours. If you're planning to return your rental car to the airport, it pays to drop your stuff at the hotel and then return the car. Rental car return is off-airport, but the rental car bus driver will drop you at the hotel if you ask as it's on the main entrance road to the airport so they'll be going right by anyway. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the terminal (one Euro charge), but it's only a ten minute walk at most. The hotel is on two levels, and no elevators, if that's an issue.

“Dublin Airport Hotel”

I stayed at this hotel before while it was holiday Inn and also another hotel across the road. The status of the current Clarion hotel now is total worn out and in need of significant refurbishment . And they charge you for car parking!

“"Very Comfortable Stay"”

We stayed two nights in the Clarion at the Dublin Airport, and found the staff very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It was easy to get to and from City Centre, Dublin from this location. Rates were very reasonable, and the restaurant, bar, and lobby are open and welcoming. Only one improvement I can think of, is there is no elevator/lift. So luggage must be either handled by oneself being pulled up stairs or by the staff. Staff is very eager help in this regard.
