“Convenient to Airport”
We stayed here on the last night of our trip to be close to the airport for an early flight the next morning. The airport shuttle was convenient and quick (about 10 minutes or so) to the airport, and it was nice to not have to deal with rental cars or taxis! The check in and check out process was a bit slow - there was only one person working at the desk and a line of people, but they were friendly. Our room was standard - comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom. We stopped down to the lobby lounge for a drink and the staff there at the bar were friendly and helpful. The lounge was comfortable and relaxing for our last night in Ireland. Good value if you want to be close and convenient to the airport.
“Above Average Airport Hotel”
The hotel is situated close to Dublin Airport and a frequent (free) shuttle service operates between the 2 locations. It's a busy hotel, especially at weekends and the time it takes to complete the check in process can vary. Having said that, they always try to have sufficient staff working at the desk. The reception staff themselves are friendly and efficient and make you feel welcome. On the outside, the hotel is just like any other modern building and wouldn't win any awards. The inside is bright and functional with a large open plan recepton / lounge area which is nice to relax in - both food and drink are served in this area (menu varies on time of day). Free wi-fi is available in all public areas as well as the bedrooms. The rooms are an excellent size and very clean and comfortable. They all come with tv, tea/coffeee making facilities, clothes press and iron and free wi-fi. There's no air-con in the rooms. Bedding arrangements can vary upon requirements (single, double, family) but charges are on a per room basis. For food, as well as the lounge area there's also a large resturant which looks like a cafeteria but the food is generally of a good quality and value for money. There's adequate parking both outside and under the hotel but it is not free - there are usually "fly and park" deals on offer on the internet. In conclusion, a goo place to stay although NOT a central Dublin hotel
“Good traveller's hotel”
This hotel is so new it is not in the Garmin, Google or Bing data base and is a little hard to find. It is clean and has a fairly good restaurant. There is no room service and the reception help is a little slow. But it is a very good deal.
“It was okay”
Hotel is very pretty..and modern, but the staff seemed to be overworked and frazzled...It was very large and impersonal. It was easy to take buses into Dublin via the airport, but it was expensive.
“Bewleys Airport Hotel, Dublin”
Hotel was adequate for airport convenience though isolated. General cleanliness and comfort were good. Parking was absurdly bad and entry into the parking area was worse! Traffic for functions going on blocked the entry and flow pastterns are so bad that cabs were turning around and going against the one-way flow - or trying to. Lobby was sterile and noisey.
“Wouldn't go back”
The location of this hotel and frequent shuttles to and from the airport are convenient enough, and it is well priced. However, our stay there was less than ideal. When we arrived, there was a large (and loud) party going on at the hotel. The man checking us in had to leave to break up an imminent fist fight just to the right of the check-in counter between some rowdy and clearly intoxicated guests. The noise from the party could be heard in our room, on the second floor. The room seemed clean enough, but then we discovered a used condom in the cabinet while looking for a second towel (there was only one left in the bathroom). The next morning, we tried the breakfast, and it was truly sub-par. There are plenty of other good airport hotel options. Don't stay here.
“Great Location, Good Service”
Arrived at 11:30 pm, Bar stayed open late offered us food and a Guiness! Hotel was clean, friendly, 'awake and ready to help even at this late hour. We had requested a room for three and that is what we got, very comfortable, not always the case in Europe when you need room for three. Shuttle was on time and easy to locate, and took us back to airport equally as efficiently.
“Bewleys Dublin Airport...hmmmm”
Bewleys was an ok hotel for the money. We were looking for cheap and got it. it is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is in nice shape. Our room was clean. there is no air conditioning...so ask for a room that doesn't face the highway. Bewleys has free airport shuttle service which is very nice. We took the Bewleys shuttle to the airport and took the airport link bus 747 into the City Center...which is O'Connell Street. We bought a "freedom ticket" which gives you three days' worth of bus rides on city buses and on the "GREEN" hop-on hop-off busses...NOT THE RED ONES. So for 26 euros each, we had unlimited bus trips around Dublin for three days. That's a good deal. Anyway...we gave quality a 3 because the front desk does not answer their phones so we couldn't leave a wake-up call. The hotel and room were clean...so we gave them a 5. Comfort only a 3 because had to leave windows open to cool room, but our room faced the highway...so it was noisy. Convenience a 3 because we had to take shuttle and bus to get to town...there is no surrounding neighborhood...just a highway and cloverleaf. We might try to stay in town next time...but for the money...it wasn't so bad.
“don't recommend”
Horrible service- no one answers phone takes forever to check in- takes forever to get service in restaurant- just basics in room more like howard johnsons would definitely try something different
“Airport Hotel”
It was confusing when I got to the hotel it had a banner with another name. The hotel is too big, so big you can get lost. Checking took 25 minutes with 3 people checking in customers at 6pm. The room was very clean and large, it has coffee and tea. The TV was quite old. The bar and the bar food was very good and employees were friendly and helpful. I only stay one night the hotel location was a plus if you are traveling to the airport. The hotel does provided airport transportation for free, that was a plus. I will stay again.
