"The lodge is quiet!!! Our room was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable and the view of the lake from our room and the lounge was wonderful. Many thanks to our hosts, Connie and Donal, who were amazing. Breakfast was the perfect start to exploring the area. We spent time on the Aran Islands and in the fishing mecca of Oughterard. Donal and Connie know the area well and offered spot on advice and insights. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Connie and Donal!!!"

"Great property with its own carpark. right next to city center but still very quiet. Note there is no lift (elevator) so you may have a few stairs to navigate. Staff will assist if needed. Mini Irish breakfast was great. Would recommend"

"One night stay in Kilkenny, and this hotel is both nicely placed and nicely equipped. The only thing I would do differently next time is to book direct for a better deal now that I know more about the place. "
